Jan. 20—The apparently lunatic statements from NATO officials and various leaked documents claiming that Russia plans to invade “free” Europe by as early as next year, are not merely aimed at justifying the greatest military build-up in history, as well as continued support for NATO’s proxy war in the Ukraine that is already a lost cause. Well placed intelligence sources, who claim that such reports are “utter nonsense,” say that what is really happening is a well-coordinated effort to create police state conditions in much of the West, including in the United States, to be accompanied by increased alleged terrorist activity, run through Western intelligence services, but ostensibly blamed on Iranian-linked groups, which will be linked to Russian plans. These actions mirror similar NATO-sponsored terrorist activity during the 1970s, exposed by the 1975-76 Church Committee investigations of domestic CIA activities, as part of an Operation Chaos and Confusion and also MK-Ultra, intended to drive targeted populations crazy with fear, and thus willing to yield to police-state type response. With most of the nations in Europe as well as the United States facing elections, this syncretic terrorism and war propaganda are intended to shift outcomes, or, as one source warned, even lead to elections being canceled for security reasons. From the Mouth of NATO“We have to realize it’s not a given that we are in peace,” Dutch Adm. Rob Bauer, Chair of NATO’s Military Committee, told reporters after a meeting of the Alliance’s defense chiefs in Brussels two days ago. The statement is clearly part of this new “chaos and confusion” operation and was given big headlines around the world. “And that’s why we [NATO forces] are preparing for a conflict with Russia,” he intoned. His warning came ahead of next week’s start of military drills called Operation Steadfast Defender 2024—to involve around 90,000 troops and lasting months—aimed at proving the Alliance can defend its territory up to its border with Russia; it is the largest NATO military exercise in recent history.Bauer also said that a large number of civilians would also need to be mobilized in case of war, and argued that governments in the Alliance need to start planning for such a massive mobilization. He also called for a ramp-up of the military-industrial base to produce weapons and munitions, citing the inability to even meet the growing thirst for weapons of the NATO puppet government in Kyiv and its losing battle with Russia. The demands for a NATO capable of repulsing his phantom Russian invasion would be enormously greater and the need is for the buildup to start immediately. While Bauer and other NATO officials continued to express their support for giving Kyiv most of the weapons they demand, there were signs of the recognition that the war could end in defeat, not of Russia, but of Zelenskyy and the pro-Nazi rabble that comprise the inner core of his government. This is now being spun by the NATO propaganda machine as a potential reason for an emboldened Russia, to launch a westward invasion of NATO territory.Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis is also calling on Europe to speed up preparations for such an attack, for that reason.“There’s a chance that Russia might not be contained in Ukraine,” Landsbergis said, warning: “There is no scenario in this that if Ukraine doesn’t win, that could end well for Europe.”German HysteriaMeanwhile, in Germany, the war-scare hysteria is being ramped up to psychotic levels, even as that nation’s farmers, fighting for their survival, rally the population to their side with a week of tractorcades and mass demonstrations.Germany’s Defense Minister Boris Pistorius warned that Russian President Vladimir Putin could attack NATO countries in less than a decade, he told German outlet Der Tagesspiegel. Germany needed to be prepared for this, which will require sacrifice on the part of the population.A week ago, the paper Bild-Zeitung obtained classified German military documents that laid out a wildly fanciful scenario in which Russia launches a massive Spring 2024 attack to take advantage of waning Western support for Ukraine. A German official dismissed the report, calling the scenario “extremely unlikely,” according to Business Insider. Despite the denial, the report continues to be debated in the media, with various political figures urging the nation to prepare for inevitable conflict, and to not trust the U.S. to come to its defense, should the Russian attack occur. This is all psychotic hysteria, said one former senior intelligence figure. “Anyone with half a brain knows that the Russians have never had an intention to launch an unprovoked attack on Europe, especially since the 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact. NATO and its political leadership lied to the Russians about their intentions to push the Alliance eastward, but like it or not, that push is over with disastrous consequences of the loss of the war in the Ukraine that they provoked. There are many lunatics in the present Western military command. But I have to believe that there are people who know this alleged coming Russian invasion is nonsense.” This and other sources say that NATO, and the decadent financial elite that runs them, while hyping the threat, is effectively seeking to take over effective control in the West: Sort of a military dictatorship or a police state on war footing. But, these sources fear, in order to make real this coup against what little power remains in elected government, this elite must soften up populations with NATO-orchestrated terrorist events. The ongoing Israeli genocide against Palestinians, which is defended by NATO, and its U.S. and British sponsors, and supported by the German government, can provide a cover for such syncretic terrorist activity, to be blamed, perhaps, on Iran. The best defense against such a threat is to call for an end to NATO—something that, on occasion, former President Donald Trump, the current frontrunner for the Republican Presidential nomination, has supported. Perhaps there we have the reason for statements in the media openly discussing the possibility of Trump’s assassination.
