Sept. 15NASA announced Sept. 10 that the Perseverance rover had come across some rocks with green, blue, black and white minerals which, on Earth, would traditionally indicate microbial activity. The colorful speckles come from two minerals. The blue-green mineral is called vivanite, which is well known by scientists to form during the decay of organic material. There is also a dull brown mineral called greigite, and when these two minerals are found together, it is usually an indication of microbial metabolism. These specks are large enough to be seen by the naked eye, which is rare for ancient microscopic life.

Joel Hurowitz, the lead author of a study published in Nature, said that the rocks were “probably the most astrobiologically exciting” samples identified by Perseverance. Hurowitz continued, “The sample contains what we believe to be a potential biosignature. Microbes will eat the organic matter and react with the mud, and the by-product of that reaction is these minerals. That’s kind of why we’re as excited as we are about this.”

Some scientists say that there is a chance that the minerals could have formed due to great heat and without microbes. However, several studies of these samples determined that the rocks were not subject to extreme heat. Hurowitz said that all of the evidence “seems to point more strongly towards the possibility of microbial activity.” Scientists say that the only way to definitively confirm any ancient microbial activity would be to examine the samples in person in order to make detailed mineralogical and chemical analyses. Recent cuts in the NASA budget indicate that that won’t happen anytime soon. While the search for life in other planets would simply seem to be an “interesting find” for most people, it would more fundamentally tend to bolster the hypothesis of Vladimir Vernadsky and Louis Pasteur that life is something unique and autonomous, and not at all a byproduct of some inorganic chemical combination, as is generally believed in scientific circles today.

Perseverance has been scouting Mars since 2021 and is currently in the Jezero Crater, which was a lake billions of years ago. The rocks were found in what was muddy sediment that accumulated at the bottom of an ancient river valley called Neretva Vallis.

Sept. 15—Two days of extremely violent riots in Kathmandu, Nepal, last week. which saw protesters capture Singha Durbar, which housed the office of the former Prime Minister and other ministries, setting them on fire, as well as the residence for the Prime Minister, forcing his resignation. K.P. Sharma Oli resigned as prime minister Sept. 9, after his residence was burned with his wife inside; initialed reports said that she had burned to death, but later reporting said that she had survived with serious burns. During the two-day demonstrations, hundreds of protesters stormed the Prime Minister’s office, set fire to the Supreme Court and Parliament buildings, and vandalized and torched the homes of several other senior leaders.

Following a nearly four-hour virtual meeting in which between 300 and 400 participants of the protest movement took part, according to local media, the youth leaders of the protest movement proposed former Chief Justice Sushila Karki to serve as the country’s interim prime minister, Reuters reported Sept. 10. Sushila Karki, 73, the former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Nepal and the only woman to have held the post, has accepted the proposal.

The Ministry of Health and Population of Nepal stated Sept. 10 that the death toll has risen to 30; other reports have it as high as 100. According to the ministry, 1,033 people were injured during the nationwide protests. Nepal’s international airport has officially reopened after being closed for two days.

While news from Nepal is scarce and often contradictory, Western experts note that, as India and China move to re-establish relations, creating a crisis in Nepal serves as a target of destabilization for both. The BBC notes that Nepal shares a largely open border of more than 1,000 miles with five Indian states: Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Sikkim, Bihar, and West Bengal. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi swiftly reacted to the unfolding events: “The violence in Nepal is heart-rending. I am anguished that many young people have lost their lives,” Modi wrote in a post on X on Sept. 9. He chaired also an emergency security meeting with his cabinet.

BBC writes: “The unrest also has implications for the large Nepalese diaspora in India. An estimated 3.5 million Nepalis work or live in India, but experts say the actual number could be much higher. Nepal is predominantly a Hindu-majority country and communities across the border have close family ties. People travel between the two countries without a visa or passport.”

Giving only a hint at likely British intentions, BBC states: “Given the Himalayan nation’s strategic location, both India and China are vying for influence in the country, leading to accusations that the two Asian giants are meddling in the internal affairs of Nepal.”

Sept. 14—Sources in the U.S. intelligence community say that the NATO war party intends to use propaganda about the "climate of violence" in the country following the assassination of GOP youth organizer Charlie Kirk to cover for the possible assassination of Kirk's friend and ally, President Donald Trump.

Kirk was gunned down at an open-air debate on a Utah campus Sept. 10 by an alleged "lone assassin," Tyler Robinson, 22 years old, who fired a single shot from a hidden position on the roof of a campus building, at a distance of 200 yards, using a military-grade sight. The bullet struck Kirk in his neck as he sat on a chair while addressing a crowd of more than 3,000. Nothing has been said yet by authorities about his motives, but the NATO propaganda machine is working overtime to depict Robinson as a quiet young man who had become politically obsessed with the alleged fascist characteristics of conservative Christians like Kirk and Trump, and their violent rhetorical attacks on liberals, leftists, and transgenders. Robinson, it has been reported, had a transgender partner until recently.

Narrative Framing and Geopolitical Context

"So, the story becomes the 'fascist,' 'Nazi' Trump, with his anti-immigrant, anti-transgender, anti-liberal 'conservative' rhetoric, has stirred up a hornet's nest coming at him and his supporters from the other side," said one source, "and then we are to believe that the political assassinations are merely reflective of this climate of violence. That's the narrative, but it is not the real story."

"The decadent, post-World War II global order, and its financial system, dominated by the City of London and Wall Street, for which NATO is the thug enforcer, is collapsing," the source continued. "But now, an alternative to the unipolar order is rising: the Global Majority in the South and in Asia, supported by nuclear superpowers Russia and China. NATO opposes this development with wars, such as Netanyahu's genocide in Gaza and the attack on Iran, and most notably NATO's losing proxy war against Russia in Ukraine. Charlie Kirk got into NATO's crosshairs because he questioned and called for an end to support for Ukraine, and because he was open to discussion and dialogue with the Global South, including with Russia and China. Charlie was open to dialogue and meaningful discussion with everyone. That made him dangerous—especially since some people were grooming him to be President in the not-too-distant future."

Trump’s Policy Threats and NATO’s Alleged Response

"But even more dangerous than Charlie is his friend Trump, because as President he can make and steer policy," the source continued. "They had tried to destroy him with 'Russia Russia Russia,' but they failed. Now he is President again and has said he is going to end NATO's wars. He has threatened to take over the Fed, the financial thug of Wall Street. This keeps him in NATO's sights for elimination."

This and other sources say that when Trump decided to seek normalization of relations with Russia and even cooperation on joint projects, NATO decided to move for his elimination, by whatever means it takes. "NATO had tried to kill him during the campaign in 2024," said the source. "The full story of that July 2024 Bethel, Pennsylvania hit has not been told. But suffice to say that the kid who was gunned down was not acting alone. Trump survived because he moved his head contrary to what is normal when under fire. If he doesn't do that, he is dead. The next hit cannot fail, but it must also be covered up, as to who was behind it. There is more involved than random violence when dealing with political figures like Kirk or the President."

Networks of Assassins and Groomed Operatives

The source said that NATO and its assets in the U.S. and other countries, in collaboration with networks in our own intelligence services, maintain what amounts to a "global assassination bureau" of professional assassins, who would be used for certain "high-value" hits. But it also operates a less formal network of potential hitmen, who are targeted and groomed to carry out hits. They are usually loners who have some competence as shooters, or at least familiarity with guns. They may have had military training or are just "enthusiasts." Such people are steered—sometimes with handlers, other times through the media and internet networks—and are often, once the suggestion is accepted, given help from inside security operations intended to protect targets.

Such individuals or groups (such as gangs) are useful to carry out what has been labeled "a strategy of tension" in what appear to be dissociated acts of random violence that create tension in society, which political forces then use to create outcomes. This Strategy of Tension was used in the 1970s by the ruling powers to control the population during the collapse of the old Bretton Woods system: it involved various mass terrorist events but also included targeted political assassinations, with the NATO propaganda machine both setting these up and then covering up what was really happening.

Russian Analysis and Parallels to Trump Assassination Attempt

In seeking analysis of the Kirk assassination, the Russian news service Sputnik turned to “a veteran of Russia’s elite Alpha counterterrorism unit,” former FSB expert Lt. Col. (ret.) Andrey Popov, who confirmed the source’s assessment of how such things are run and covered up.

The Russian news service offered its readers access to views about the Charlie Kirk assassination. According to Sputnik, Popov’s view is that “the assassin wasn’t necessarily a pro and may have been an ordinary American with firearms experience groomed and manipulated into becoming a willing killer, either by partisan media or even security services.”

Popov explained the idea of “grooming,” RT reported. “U.S. security agencies are known to run an entire cohort of informal ‘agents,’ identified ahead of time, led on, controlled and given the chance to carry out their crime, after which they are liquidated or allowed to disappear (ensuring plausible deniability for powerful forces behind the scenes). Free access to military-grade firearms eases the process considerably,” Popov says.

Popov also noted that Kirk’s murder had “the same handwriting” as the 2024 failed Trump assassination. RT added: “The FSB vet suspects ‘some kind of criminal organization’ has been in control of law enforcement and domestic intelligence in the U.S. going back to the Kennedy era, organizing them in such a way as to ease political murder and protect the masterminds. The ability to freely kill politicians means control, ‘exercised in the most radical way imaginable—by eliminating people influencing public opinion in a direction that’s not favorable to this organized criminal group,’” Popov summed up.

Death Threats, Ashton-Cirillo, and the Intelligence Trail

Kirk fit the profile of such a political target, and he realized that they might come for him.

A death threat was communicated to Charlie Kirk, assassinated Sept. 10 in Utah, and his response to the threat is on record: “Are they going to murder, or try to murder Steve Bannon or Tucker Carlson, or myself? None of us are Putin puppets or Russian propagandists, but the New York Times calls us that, Twitter calls us that. And that person, who is funded by the U.S. Treasury, says: we are gonna come murder you.” That was two years ago.

“That person” is Las Vegas resident, transgender activist Sarah Ashton-Cirillo. On Sept. 13, 2023, speaking as the head of Ukraine’s Territorial Defense’s English-language outreach program, she vowed that “Russia’s war criminal propagandists will all be hunted down, and justice will be served.” Further, she intimated inside knowledge on her part, saying that a “favorite Kremlin propagandist will pay for their crimes.” Within a week, she issued a second video, explaining that the “Russian propagandists and war criminals who are spreading lies and pushing false narratives are not journalists, they are information agents and an extension of the Putin-Prigozhin effort to spread chaos and wreak havoc across the globe.” She/he was echoing the 2022 line from Kiev’s Center for Countering Disinformation, that journalists who dissent from Kiev’s narrative are “information terrorists,” to be hunted down as terrorists. Charlie Kirk had been identified by the CCD as such an information terrorist.

Then-Senator J.D. Vance, Sept. 18, 2023, wrote to several Biden administration officials, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken, inquiring whether Ashton-Cirillo was being employed by the Ukrainian military and if she was being “compensated using American resources.” Kirk’s citation of “that person, who is funded by the U.S. Treasury” is based upon the investigation launched by Vance, his longtime collaborator—who had received similar treatment by the CCD.

Shortly after her 2023 controversy, Ashton-Cirillo was dismissed from her position with Ukraine’s Territorial Defense operation. She and her controllers may have had no direct connection with Kirk's assassination; however, it is a live operation that cannot be ignored. She went on to work for Kyrylo Budanov’s Military Intelligence Division (HUR), heavily involved in the operational side (wet works) of eliminating such information terrorists.

Recently, she’s been employed by Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, and she represented them in August on Poland’s TVP World show. (She appears to have reverted to identifying as a man, judging by appearances, and seems to have dropped both the name “Sarah” and the hyphenation, calling him- or herself “Ashton Cirillo,” though this awaits confirmation.) There, two days before the Alaska summit, she warned of the danger of Trump being fooled by Putin and explained that he and the U.S. had to become aware of “Russian terrorism” and of “the evil dictated by Putin on behalf of these terrorists.”

Eliminate the Assassination Bureau

"Trump has some good people, like [FBI Director Kash] Patel and [Director of National Intelligence Tulsi] Gabbard working for him," said the source. "It were best he dispatches them to get to the bottom of the assassination of Kirk and the failed hit on him in 2024. If they put that picture together with what took place in the killing of the Kennedys, we might be able to protect him and other political figures who go against NATO’s outside narrative. In an interview just before his death in 1973, former President Lyndon Johnson was asked whether he believed that Lee Harvey Oswald was the 'lone assassin' of President John Kennedy. He answered, 'We run a God damn international assassination bureau.' It is about time that we dismantled that capability, now run by NATO."

Sept. 13—After their Aug. 24-Sept. 1 fact-finding trip to Southwest Asia Senators Chris Van Hollen of Maryland and Jeff Merkley of Oregon released a report stating that Israel is acting on a systematic plan to destroy and ethnically cleanse Palestinians from Gaza, for which they provide evidence that the U.S. is complicit. The report titled, “The Netanyahu Government Is Implementing a Plan To Ethnically Cleanse Gaza of Palestinians,” was released Sept. 11 and argues that the two senators came to the “inescapable conclusion” that the deaths of civilians in Gaza are not “collateral damage” from a war against Hamas, but rather a deliberate strategy by Israel to ethnically cleanse the local population.

The senators met with several former Israel Defense Forces soldiers, who told them in detail how they participated in the “systematic destruction of civilian infrastructure,” and gave first-hand accounts of “how this was a part of an intentional pattern of using explosives to blow up whole city blocks, houses, schools and other civilian sites.”

At a Sept. 11 press conference Senator Van Hollen described their visit to the Egyptian-Gaza border at Rafah and saw the city of 270,000 people reduced to rubble. Not allowed to enter Gaza, both senators climbed an outside fire escape from the Egyptian side of the border to see in better detail the extent of the destruction.

According to the report, humanitarian aid shipments are reduced to less than 10% of capacity due to arbitrary restrictions. Simple items such as peanut butter, honey, or dates may be suddenly banned and entire trucks turned away because they carry a single jar of peanut butter. Each truck is subject to a new $400 customs processing fee, and when a truck is forced to make a second attempt to enter Gaza without that jar of peanut butter, it must pay another $400 processing fee. Other items are banned under “dual use” [potential military and civilian use] restrictions such as water pumps, tents, wheelchairs, and spare parts for trucks.

In Egypt, the senators inspected the fleet of trucks from the United Nations which have “sustained severe damage.” The UN officials showed the senators videos of UN convoys coming under fire from the IDF, which they said was “a regular occurrence.” Also, in Egypt, the senators toured a warehouse run by the Egyptian Red Crescent and the UN World Food Program filled with humanitarian goods that had been banned by Israel.

In Israel, the senators inspected the 2,200 shipping containers of food (enough to feed the entire population of Gaza for three weeks) which sit at the Israeli port of Asdod, where they are delayed by screening requirements—each pallet must be individually screened. The senators met with the family members of several Israeli hostages held by Hamas who said that the Butcher of Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister "Bibi" Netanyahu prioritizes his own political survival over the survival of the hostages and he has blown up several peace deals which would have ended the war and released all the hostages.

At the press conference, Senator Merkley said, “The same values that made me a champion for Israel compel me to say what they are doing to the Palestinians, both in the West Bank and in Gaza, is absolutely wrong.”

Their report concludes, “The world has a moral and legal obligation to stop the ongoing ethnic cleansing. Strong words alone will not be sufficient. The world must impose penalties and costs on those carrying out this plan.”

Sept. 12—NATO has used its patsy, Poland, to stage a dangerous provocation against Russia to undermine the Trump-Putin peace process. On Sept. 10, Poland, declaring it was under the threat of attack, shot down Russian drones that had entered its airspace in a joint operation involving other NATO countries, marking the first time a member of NATO has fired shots at Russian targets in nearly three years of its proxy war against Russia in Ukraine.

Poland said that 19 drones had entered its space, and it shot down those it deemed a threat, while providing no evidence that the drones were armed or targeted against Polish assets. The Russian drones were first reported by the Poles to be part of a massive attack—over 400 drones—against Ukrainian targets, with Ukraine providing that information.

Article 4 Activated Amid Escalation Talk

In so doing, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk activated Article 4 of the NATO charter, which demanded full consultations with Poland's NATO allies. Sources report that the Poles had actually considered invoking Article 5, which would have compelled NATO allies to come to the defense of Poland, declared as "under attack"—a characterization repeatedly used by Polish spokesmen, as well as NATO's Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who urged NATO to become more directly involved in supporting NATO's losing war using Ukrainians against the Russians, and to put Russia and its enablers, like China, under new sanctions.

"We are dealing with a large-scale provocation," said Tusk. "We are ready to repel such provocations. The situation is serious, and no one doubts that we must prepare for various scenarios."

Russia Denies Incursion, Offers Consultation

Russia's RIA state news agency quoted a Russian diplomat as calling the accusations of an incursion "groundless" and saying Poland had not given any evidence that the drones shot down were of Russian origin. Instead, the Russians have urged consultation with Poland to belay any fears and answer questions of about the drones.

Instead, several European officials described the incursion as intentional and a sign of Russian escalation the Ukraine conflict.

"The fact that these drones, which posed a security threat, were shot down changes the political situation," said Tusk.

The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces urged residents to stay at home, with three eastern regions at particular risk.

"This is an act of aggression that posed a real threat to the safety of our citizens," it said.

A NATO spokesperson said NATO chief Mark Rutte was in touch with Polish leadership and the alliance was consulting closely with Poland. A source said NATO was not treating the incident as an attack but as an intentional incursion.

EU and NATO Officials Call for Tougher Measures

"Russia's war is escalating, not ending. We must raise the cost on Moscow, strengthen support for Ukraine, and invest in Europe's defense," the European Union's top diplomat Kaja Kallas said Sept. 10. "The EU plays a major role and we will support initiatives like the Eastern Border Shield defense line," Kallas, who in the past has called for tough sanctions against Russia and greater NATO involvement, wrote in a post on X.

Regarding Western allegations that Russia had attacked Poland with drones, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov Sept. 10 said that no evidence has been provided linking the UAVs that had fallen on Poland to Russia. Russia’s Chargé d’Affaires in Warsaw, Andrey Ordash, told RIA Novosti that when he was summoned to the Polish Foreign Ministry this morning, the Polish authorities did not provide any evidence that the downed UAVs belonged to Russia. Apparently, they did not think it relevant. Ordash also noted that the drones had flown into Poland from Ukraine.

Shortly afterwards, Russia’s Ministry of Defense made clear that they targeted nothing in Poland, but that they are prepared to meet with Poland’s Ministry of Defense over any concerns. Their statement, machine-translated, says:

“Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a massive strike with high-precision long-range land-based, sea- and air-based weapons, as well as attack unmanned aerial vehicles on enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr regions, as well as in the cities of Vinnytsia and Lviv. These enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex carried out the production and repair of armored and aviation equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the production of engines and electronic components for them, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.

“On the southern and southwestern outskirts of the city of Lviv, the workshops of the Lviv Armored Plant, in which armored vehicles were repaired and modernized, as well as the Lviv Aircraft Plant LDARZ, where long-range unmanned aerial vehicles were produced and combat aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were repaired, were hit. The objectives of the strike have been achieved. All designated objects have been hit.

“Targets for destruction on the territory of Poland were not planned. The maximum flight range of the Russian UAVs used in the strike, which allegedly crossed the border with Poland, does not exceed 700 km. Nevertheless, we are ready to hold consultations on this topic with the Polish Ministry of Defense.”

Trump Rejects NATO Pressure, Urges Restraint

A source close to the White House said that President Trump, who had initially been alarmed by press reports claiming Russia was attacking Poland with drones, now sees clearly that this is a NATO-staged provocation, blown out of proportion in part to pressure him to go along with Europe on new sanctions for Russia. "The President does not see new sanctions as helpful," said the source, "and he has told the NATO allies to calm the fuck down—that there is no evidence that these drones were an 'attack' on Poland. When Tusk called him, he told him to talk to the Russians, who he said were showing great restraint in the face of wild, unsubstantiated claims of an attack.

"The Poles are stupidly following the same reasoning as that clown Zelenskyy," the source said. "He is constantly waving the bloody shirts of innocent women and children that are the victims of alleged Russian drone attacks which he claims deliberately target civilians. Yet, he knows that Ukrainians and other countries, including Poland, jam the Russian drones, which send them off paths to guided targets. Also, they shoot these things down and they fall everywhere and anywhere, killing people who were never targeted. Trump knows that the way to stop all the killing is to end the damn, senseless war, which is what he is trying to do."

British Officials Amplify Crisis Narrative

Meanwhile, the British are trying to play the "Russia Attacks Poland" lie for all it's worth. British Defense Secretary John Healey said he had asked the U.K. armed forces to look at “options to bolster NATO’s air defense over Poland.” He was speaking after an E5 meeting of ministers from France, Germany, the U.K., Italy, and Poland, which the Polish Defense Secretary had left early to return home due to the drone incursion. Healey said: “Today, as five nations, we say to President Putin: Your aggression only serves to strengthen the unity between our NATO nations; your aggression only serves to strengthen our determination to stand with Ukraine.”

Their efforts to pull Trump into this have clearly failed. Sources report that Trump asked for and received an American intelligence report on the alleged drone attack. The sources say that the report concluded there was no attack, that the drones were unarmed, and likely strayed off course due to Ukrainian jamming of guidance systems. American intelligence, contrary to NATO intelligence, does not believe that Poland was ever under any threat. What was not said in the intel report, but is strongly believed by the White House, is that NATO staged this incident to try to force Trump into an escalated attack on the Russians and President Vladimir Putin, including joining Europe in new sanctions.

In remarks to the press Sept. 11, Trump downplayed the incident, saying: “Could have been a mistake. Could have been a mistake. But regardless, I’m not happy about anything having to do with that whole situation. But hopefully it’s going to come to an end.”

A U.S. intelligence-connected source pointed out another important thing that no one ever talks about: "The Russians have followed certain rules in this war, which have kept it from expanding, but actually hurt the Russians," the source stated. "In any large military conflict, you always target the lines of supply that get the weapons to the soldiers you are fighting. The U.S. and NATO are the main suppliers of weapons and munitions to Ukraine. Have you ever seen the Russians target the means by which Ukraine is supplied, through the air or overland from Poland? There are bases in Poland where these supplies are brought in. They are either then flown or trucked into Ukraine. Have the Russians targeted these supply operations? No. The why for this should be obvious—because they involve NATO and American personnel who would be killed if these operations were attacked. The Russians have honored this rule. They know exactly how these operations are run, yet they do not attack them. If they cut off these supplies, Ukraine could not fight. This is a crazy war, unlike anything in history."

Sept. 11—U.S. Vice-President J.D. Vance stated Sept. 9, contrary to the reports from the BBC, Financial Times and The Telegraph, that President Trump does not view attempts to isolate Russia economically as a sustainable strategy. Rather, economic cooperation involving Moscow, Kyiv, and Washington could be the key for a stable peace in Eastern Europe.

He was asked by OAN host and former Congressman Matt Gaetz: “Do you see economic cooperation with Russia as one of the things that could bring an end to some of the hostilities that we want to see concluded?” to which Vance replied, “Absolutely, and it’s one of the carrots we’ve thrown out there.” President Trump “doesn’t see any reason why we should economically isolate Russia, except for the continuation of the conflict.” While Trump “wants the killing to stop,” he is also “very open to a whole host of economic arrangements that are beneficial to the United States of America...

“Let’s be honest, whether you like or dislike Russia, whether you agree or disagree with their underlying arguments for the conflict, the simple fact is they have a lot of oil, they’ve got a lot of gas, they’ve got a lot of mineral wealth…. [O]nce we get this peace settled, we could have a very productive economic relationship with both Russia and Ukraine…. Frankly, if we had a better relationship economically in Eastern Europe, it might actually be the best guarantee of a long-term peace.”

Sept. 11—Charles Kirk, the executive director of Turning Point USA, was assassinated today in Utah, having been cited multiple times in 2023 and 2024 by Ukraine’s infamous Center for Countering Disinformation for “spreading pro-Russian narratives in the West.” Such a designation put Kirk into the CCD’s category of an “information terrorist,” someone who should be treated as an actual terrorist. The CCD defined information terrorism as:

“A Crime against Humanity committed by means of instruments affecting the consciousness,” putting people who publicly criticize Kiev’s government on the same level of people who employ physical violence to terrorize. The CCD is a subdivision of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, part of its Office of the President. Before 2022, Kiev’s target list, maintained by the Myrotvorets gang, concentrated on Ukrainian enemies, and several of the targets were assassinated. In 2022, the CCD expanded such “information terrorists” to include targets outside of Ukraine, including Americans. Background on their operations is available at and at.

In 2023, the CCD objected specifically to Kirk’s calling for an end to the American provision of financial aid to Ukraine and criticizing the activities of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy; but they also cited as another offense, his praise of the BRICS.

The 31-year-old had played a significant in Trump's 2024 victory. He organized a network of tens of thousands of young people to deploy to battleground and other states, specifically charged with organizing people to register and to vote for Trump, including in early voting. Kirk's warriors especially targeted young people, especially those who no longer believed the popular narratives, and trolled the internet in search of the truth and new ideas. His efforts succeeded in gaining Trump a double digit increase in young voters over the 2020 election, and along with increased GOP registrations and other votes, provided Trump with his margin of victory.

Kirk preached that people need to be willing to engage in open debate with everyone about things they believed important, which he said was an American tradition. There should be no efforts to restrict or program this debate, and everyone should be allowed to question his and their own beliefs. He toured college campuses, practicing what he preached, and was doing so when he was murdered.

In May, Kirk hosted Vice-President J.D. Vance on his show.

Today he was shot and killed while fielding questions on a Utah campus. Authorities said the shooter, who had fired from a rooftop on campus some distance away, is still at large. Sources say that this appears to be a highly organzied and professional hit of the type carried out through agents of NATO's international assassination bureau which trains and deploys Ukrainian assassins. Sources believe that this NATO network ran the assassination attempt against Trump in Bethel, Pa. In July 2024; these intelligence sources say that the attempt, which nearly succeeded but for a random turn of Trump's head, was done with collaboration from NATO's supporters inside the U.S. government.

Kirk, who called for a full and open investigation of the Trump assassination attempts, was an open and bitter opponent of NATO and its Ukrainian proxies, who he argued refused to hear what the Russians or anyone else was saying, and acted like Nazis in their repression of Russian speakers in Ukraine.

Kirk was also named as a target on two other regime-tied Ukrainian hitlists. Molfar OSINT (now rebranded as Molfar Intelligence Firm) included Kirk on their list of so-called Russian “Foreign Propagandists” and “Enemies of Ukraine,” published in February, 2023. Molfar brags that a major part of its work is with and for Ukrainian military intelligence, providing target lists. When Ukraine’s pro-regime Texty Data Journalism Agency published its enemies list of 390 Americans and 76 organizations on June 6, 2024, titled “Roller Coaster: From Trumpists to Communists. The forces in the U.S. impeding aid to Ukraine and how they do it”—Kirk was again included. Again, this was because his Turning Point USA “opposes U.S. involvement in the Ukrainian conflict and advocates for an end to U.S. aid to Ukraine.”

Other Americans who have been targeted by Kiev’s multiple hitlists range from Vice President J.D. Vance and DNI Tulsi Gabbard to Sen. Rand Paul, The LaRouche Organization’s Diane Sare, a former candidate for U.S. Senate, peace activists Ray McGovern and Scott Ritter, among other such notables.

Russia’s Deputy Security Council Chairman and former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev posted Sept. 10: “Political crimes and assassinations have been carried out lately by a variety of left-wing liberal scum who support Banderite Kyiv regime]. Fico, Kirk. Who’s next? Maybe it’s time for the MAGA team to realize that by supporting Ukraine, they’re supporting murderers.” Of note, Kyiv has celebrated Stepan Bandera and his Banderite followers, Ukrainian collaborators with Hitler's Nazis in World War II. Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico, a critic of the West’s use of Ukraine in a proxy war, survived an assassination attempt in May last year, as did then-Presidential candidate Donald Trump in July 2024

by Mr. X

Sept. 11—In a situation of extreme political turbulence, such as today, when two distinct prospects stand before the world, and civilization itself hangs in the balance, it is possible to not only survive, but to prosper—but only by thinking clearly. “Extreme events,” such as those of the past five days, should not be assumed to necessarily originate from separate causes. For example, is there a larger process that subsumes a) the Israeli attempt, apparently without the knowledge of U.S. President Donald Trump, to kill the Hamas negotiators in Doha; b) the attempt to claim, without evidence, that Russia has attacked the nation of Poland with drones; and c) the attempt to introduce “civil war” chaos into American political life, through the assassination of a Trump ally, the young founder and chairman of Turning Point International, Charlie Kirk?

Executive Intelligence Review, particularly in these moments, in order to discover the truth, goes beyond “information gathering” to the realm of “intelligence,” whatever the prejudices of its audience, or the dominant “analytical institutions” may be. In cases such as current history, it is important, as American author Edgar Poe illustrated in his tale, “A Descent Into the Maelstrom,” not to drown one’s judgment in the particulars of what are erroneously called “current events.” In this particular case, it is important to investigate apparently unconnected events as the expression of underlying processes. It is understanding the manifold of those underlying processes which can provide the means to discover the truth.

Helga Zepp-LaRouche has written a statement for wide circulation, by the name: “The Nations of the Western Must Cooperate with the New World Economic Order!” It is, in reality, a peace proposal, a proposal for a new security and development architecture. It describes how last week’s multiple conferences in Asia brought into being an increasingly consolidated, new world economic reality. The world is already now oriented to the Pacific Ocean, and potentially, to the Arctic Ocean, no longer to the Atlantic and NATO.

India, Russia and China, containing 3 billion people, and a great concentration of the world’s resources, are at the fulcrum of a larger concentration (including the Koreas, Japan and Indonesia) of the world’s most skilled workforces and most advanced technologies. If the United States joins that process, and abandons war, the world’s greatest age of prosperity in its history can result. And in a different, sobering way, the Beijing military parade, the largest in human history, commemorating the victory against fascism in Asia—not accomplished by the atomic bomb, as is believed in America and Europe, but through the great suffering of the 30 million Chinese and 27 million Russians who died in the war—makes the same point, demonstrating the resolve never to capitulate to fascism again.

Against that new, happy reality, decapitation strikes (Yemen, Lebanon, Iran), color revolutions (Serbia, Serb Republic, Georgia) and sanctions, including tariffs (many nations) are being utilized by a dying empire. The British-American “special relationship” could end if Trump pursues a new relationship with Russia and China, adopting Abraham Lincoln’s policy of constructive engagement with both those nations as allies against imperialism, rather than Winston Churchill’s policy of racialist perpetual war. With that in mind, consider the following questions regarding two recent “extreme events.”

First, with respect to the Israeli illegal attack on Doha, President Trump’s press secretary Karoline Leavitt reported that the United States had called its ally Qatar, to warn that nation of an impending attack by Israel: “President Trump immediately directed special envoy Witkoff to inform the Qataris of the impending attack, which he did.” She was quickly corrected by Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani: “The attack happened at 3:46 p.m. The first call we had from an American official was at 3:56 p.m., which was 10 minutes after the attack. After that, President Trump had spoken with His Highness The Amir, and said that he condemned the attack.”

After this, Trump posted the following: “This morning, the Trump Administration was notified by the United States Military that Israel was attacking Hamas which, very unfortunately, was located in a section of Doha, the Capital of Qatar. This was a decision made by Prime Minister Netanyahu, it was not a decision made by me. Unilaterally bombing inside Qatar, a Sovereign Nation and close Ally of the United States, that is working very hard and bravely taking risks with us to broker Peace, does not advance Israel or America’s goals.”

Economist Jeffrey Sachs, in an interview with Judge Andrew Napolitano, commented that, like the attack on Iran, the Israelis were trying to kill the negotiators, because peace might break out. Trump was saying he did not know about something that had to be prepared over weeks—and it’s very possible that he did not know. Is that the case? Blackmail, as in the case of what Sachs described as “a Mossad agent engaged in gathering compromising materials on the American political class,” named Jeffrey Epstein, also involved Britain’s Prince Andrew, once chief weapons salesman for the Crown, and U.K. Ambassador to the United States Peter Mandelson, who told the London press yesterday that “very embarrassing” revelations are about to appear about him. There are also the Maxwells, not only Ghislaine, but her siblings, the children of the Mossad agent Robert Maxwell.

Next, consider the following EIR item:

Charles Kirk, the executive director of Turning Point USA, assassinated today in Utah, was cited multiple times in 2023 and 2024 by Ukraine’s infamous Center for Countering Disinformation for “spreading pro-Russian narratives in the West.” Such a designation put Kirk into the CCD’s category of an “information terrorist,” someone who can and should be treated as an actual terrorist. What had Kirk said to land him on the CCD list?

Commenting on a statement on Ukraine made by Marco Rubio in January, Kirk pointed out that Rubio “acknowledges that funding another war ‘as long as it takes’ is not realistic, and any end to the war must be a negotiated compromise. Otherwise, Ukraine will be destroyed from the loss of every last young man in the country. This is the way. End the war.”

In this context, recall an earlier report from BBC News, September 17, 2024: “Ukrainian officials have firmly distanced themselves from the man accused of trying to assassinate Donald Trump at the former President’s Florida golf course. Ryan Routh, 58, has repeatedly tried to recruit foreign soldiers for the Ukrainian military, but was unsuccessful.” Helga Zepp-LaRouche has also appeared on that list, along with former U.S. Senate candidate Diane Sare, who wrote in July of 2022:

“On July 14 the Ukrainian Government’s ‘Center to Counter Disinformation’ posted my name and photograph on a list of 72 individuals whom they accuse on their website of ‘promoting narratives consonant with Russian propaganda.’ While that is already an egregious assault on our Constitutional right to Freedom of Speech by a foreign power, I have since learned that on the day the Ukrainian blacklist was posted, the Center’s Director Andriy Shapolavov, speaking at an international roundtable on ‘countering disinformation’ with ‘representatives of state authorities, public organizations, mass media and international experts … supported by the U.S. State Department’ called such people as those listed, ‘information terrorists,’ and said that Ukraine is preparing legislation so that such people can be prosecuted as ‘war criminals.’ (See the Center’s website.)

“This has obvious security implications for myself and each of the individuals listed, who include former U.S. Representative Tulsi Gabbard, current U.S. Senator Rand Paul, and notably 30 of us who spoke at conferences sponsored by the Schiller Institute of Helga Zepp-LaRouche, who made the top of the list.”

We need not comment here on the “Russia Bombs Poland” story, other than to point out that Vice-President Vance indicated that once the Ukraine matter is settled, perhaps Russia and the United States will engage in expanded trade and collaboration in areas such as the Arctic. Circulation of the Zepp-LaRouche statement and daily reading of Executive Intelligence Review is the surest way to avoid manipulation in the maelstrom of current “extreme events,” and to concentrate on bring the trans-Atlantic world into a post-imperialism 21st century without war.

Sept. 11—The Butcher of Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu, under pressure from President Donald Trump to end his drive for further slaughter in Gaza and to accept a new plan from Trump to end the war and free the hostages, yesterday ordered Israeli stealth fighters to attack Hamas leaders in Doha, Qatar as they met to discuss the new Trump proposal.

The attack reportedly failed to kill the targeted top Hamas leaders and negotiators, but did kill several others, including the son of top negotiator Kahil al-Hayya. The operation, sources close to the White House report, was run without American approval or assistance and had been in planning for weeks. The U.S. had indications that an attack on Hamas leaders by Israel was imminent and had instead asked Bibi to allow the new Trump plan—presented to Hamas over the course of the last week through intermediaries—a chance to work. With Qatar at the center of the diplomatic efforts, the Israelis were told, and have been told in the past, that any attack on Hamas in Doha would potentially cripple Trump's efforts to end the war.

White House Responds to Israeli Action

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt read a statement to reporters, expressing regret that Hamas leaders were in Qatar when they were targeted by Israel:

“This morning, the Trump administration was notified by the United States military that Israel was attacking Hamas, which very unfortunately was located in a section of Doha, the capital of Qatar. Unilaterally bombing inside Qatar, a sovereign nation and close ally of the United States that is working very hard and bravely taking risks with us to broker peace, does not advance Israel or America’s goals.

“However, eliminating Hamas, who have profited off the misery of those living in Gaza, is a worthy goal. President Trump immediately directed special envoy Witkoff to inform the Qataris of the impending attack, which he did. The President views Qatar as a strong ally and friend of the United States and feels very badly about the location of this attack.

“President Trump wants all of the hostages in Gaza and the bodies of the dead released, and this war to end now. President Trump also spoke to Prime Minister Netanyahu after the attack. The Prime Minister told President Trump that he wants to make peace, and quickly.

“President Trump believes this unfortunate incident could serve as an opportunity for peace.

“The President also spoke to the Emir and Prime Minister of Qatar and thanked them for their support and friendship to our country. He assured them that such a thing will not happen again on their soil.”

Qatar denied that they were given advance warning, saying they were told after the attack had already begun. Meanwhile, there are reports that Trump intends to sign a defense treaty with Qatar, which would have the U.S. defend it if it comes under attack.

Netanyahu Claims Independence While Trump Pushes Ceasefire

Netanyahu spoke at the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem Sept. 9 following the attack, claiming Israel “acted wholly independently” and asserting the war could end if Palestinians accept Trump’s ceasefire “proposal,” which he said Israel supports, even though there has been no discussion of the plan in the Security Cabinet.

"The fact is, no matter what he says, Netanyahu wants the war to continue until Hamas is annihilated," said a source. "He wants to go into Gaza City, guns blazing, killing Hamas and thousands of other Gazans. Trump does not want this, but has yet to tell Bibi it is over. Trump and [Special Envoy] Steve Witkoff think they have hit on a plan that will release all the hostages at once and end the war. They thought that Hamas would agree to this, despite knowing that Bibi does not agree. But if Hamas would agree, then Trump believes he could use his leverage in Israel against Bibi to force an end to the war. Especially if he brings all the hostages, living and dead, home at once. Whether you agree or not, that's Trump's sequencing: Hamas agrees to his plan, which means they relinquish political control of Gaza forever, with a ceasefire in place, then he forces Bibi to end the war. The IDF withdraws to agreed areas, the killing stops, and America makes sure that huge amounts of aid prevent further deaths, including by starvation.

Diplomatic Fallout and Hamas Reaction

"This requires diplomacy, but it has to be founded on faith that war will not be used to settle things," the source said. "There is no way that Trump conspired with Bibi to get Hamas in one place so they could be struck. But that is what it might look like, and this will be used by the faction of Hamas that wants no deal. Bibi knows this, which is why he took the chance. He also knows that Trump needs Qatar to help Witkoff bring the deal to realization. And it looks like Trump did not protect them from what is a humiliating attack by Israel, even if it did not really hit anything in Doha except Hamas.

Trump and Steve have a lot of pulling to keep Qatar in this game."

Doha has formed a legal team to initiate legal proceedings against what they called a “rogue act.” Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatar’s prime minister and foreign minister, issued a statement today condemning the attack, saying Qatar “will not tolerate any violation of its sovereignty, territorial integrity, or security, stressing that the blatant Israeli attack targeting Hamas political bureau leaders during negotiations in Doha amounts to state terrorism” and said the attack “not only violated international law but also ethical and humanitarian standards, particularly as Qatar was officially hosting negotiations with US involvement and Israeli awareness.”

Arab States Rally Around Qatar

Meanwhile, other Arab states are rallying to support Qatar. The leader of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, traveled to Qatar today in a show of support. Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is scheduled to visit Sept. 11.

But this should also tell you that Netanyahu does not care about diplomacy. He has said that only force, sometimes savagely administered, can settle Israel's issues with the Palestinians. He does not care that his targets were in effect not just Hamas leaders, but also serving as diplomats. "There is some truth to the Israeli contention that these people in Doha were living the 'fat cat's' life while their people were starving and dying in Gaza," said the source. "They lived well, almost like pashas. Not all of them, but many of them. And they were supposedly out of harm's way, beyond Bibi's long arm of wrath. Not any more. That's what [IDF chief Lt. Gen. Eyal] Zamir said over the weekend: No matter where they are, Israel will take out those leaders of Hamas responsible for Oct. 7."

Trump’s Urgency and the Stakes Ahead

So, what's next? Trump has sent a message to Hamas, through backchannels and the mediators, that they should accept his plan immediately without quibbling over details that can be resolved in future talks. "He believes that the attack may make them realize that their only protection comes with agreeing to the diplomatic solution that he can enforce. So, he wants to use what happened to push the deal. The Israelis said we missed this time, but we won't miss again. Trump needs to make it clear that he did not support or greenlight what happened, but that he needs to push through a deal, if Bibi is to be controlled."

"The next 48 hours will be crucial in this process," the source concluded. "Forget about the Hamas 'fat cats' in Doha. Trump needs a deal in place to stop Bibi's slaughter of tens of thousands of innocents in Gaza City. That is what should be paramount to Hamas, whose stupidity in going for the massacre of Oct. 7 [2023] gave Bibi his excuse to launch the genocide that has killed likely 100,000 innocents, so many women and children. If Hamas quibbles now about the Trump plan, if they chirp that Hamas will never surrender, it will cost tens of thousands more lives. The Trump plan traps and cages Bibi, and ultimately gets him and his messianic lunatics like [Finance Minister Belazel] Snotrich and [National Security Minister Itamar] Ben-Gvir out of there. It is the best hope for the Palestinians. The best hope for Israel. And for all people who want the killing to stop. There really is nothing else on the table."

Sept. 8—A draft of the Trump Administration’s National Defense Strategy has reportedly landed on Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s desk. According to Politico’s unnamed sources, it “places domestic and regional missions above countering adversaries such as Beijing and Moscow.” This, Politico [who is a part of the NATO propaganda machine] says, is a major shift from recent Democrat and Republican administrations, including President Donald Trump’s first term in office, when he referred to Beijing as America’s greatest rival. Furthermore, it would likely inflame China hawks in both parties who view the country’s leadership as a danger to U.S. security.

“This is going to be a major shift for the U.S. and its allies on multiple continents,” said a source, briefed on the draft document. “The old, trusted U.S. promises are being questioned.” Politico notes that the shift is already occurring, citing, among other things, the militarization of the southern border with Mexico, the deployment of National Guard troops into Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., and the deployment of naval forces into the Caribbean. It is also occurring as Trump spokesman challenge NATO's assumptions about the Russian threat to Europe, which might drag the U.S. into war that Europe creates. Trump has personally questioned the validity of the Article 5 commitment to involve NATO in the defense of any member—especially if NATO members provoke war with Russia, as has happened in Ukraine.

The new strategy would largely overturn the focus of the first Trump administration’s 2018 National Defense Strategy, which placed deterring China at the forefront of the Pentagon’s efforts, Politico goes on. The shift “doesn’t seem aligned with President Trump’s hawkish views on China at all,” said an unnamed Republican foreign policy expert briefed on the report, although Trump has never said that he sees China as a military threat but rather an economic competitor. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been at the forefront of efforts to prevent China from expanding its economic influence in the South and Central America, with Politico claims, reflects the changed policy focus.

Politico points out that the strategy also seems at odds with the views those of Deputy Secretary of Defense for Policy Elbridge Colby, who is in charge of producing the report. Despite his long track record as a China hawk, Colby aligns with Vice President J.D. Vance on the desire to disentangle the U.S. from foreign commitments, Politico claims. Notable, also, is that Colby played a crucial role in the composition of the 2018 document. Colby has strongly supported Trump's efforts to disengage from NATO's losing proxy war with Russia in Ukraine, and improving diplomatic and other relations with Russia.

Colby’s policy team is also responsible for a forthcoming global posture review, which outlines where U.S. forces are stationed around the globe, and a theater air and missile defense review, which takes stock of U.S. and allies’ air defenses and makes recommendations for where to locate American systems. Though it has yet to come out, the global posture review is already causing tremors among NATO. Other sources say that Trump currently has a disjointed view on these matters but has nonetheless freaked NATO out by questioning its post-Soviet Union mission, saying that it needs to create enemies to oppose.

Sept. 8—Recent NATO provocations against Russia in the North Sea and Norwegian Sea serve as a stark reminder that, even as U.S.-Russian relations are improving under the direction of President Donald Trump, there still exists supporters of NATO's war policy within the Washington policy establishment that are following path that would lead to dangerous confrontations and a possible nuclear war with Russia. This grouping, controlled and coordinated with NATO and British direct military provocations against Russia, even as Trump talks cooperation for mutual benefit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On Aug. 24, as the nuclear aircraft carrier group the USS Gerald Ford and the Royal Norwegian Navy ran patrols off the coast of Norway, NATO forces were mobilized to hunt for a Russian submarine which was supposedly tracking the carrier. The U.K.’s Royal Air Force scrambled spy planes to join NATO in what some sources called a “highly unusual surge” of activity. American, Norwegian, and French planes also participated in the search, with NATO allies deploying at least 27 specialist submarine-hunting sorties that ran along the border of Russia’s air defense zone.

In an interview Sept. 5 with Glenn Diesen, Col. Douglas Macgregor commented on the pattern of such provocations: “We’ve also got a lot of vessels carrying Tomahawk missiles … moving towards Novaya Zemlya, which is very unusual. It’s up on the Arctic. Then you also had a B2A bomber fly a route to Norway and back to the United States in the middle of all of this. And somebody said, well, this is because of the upcoming ‘Zapad 2025’ exercise that the Russians schedule years in advance…. I don’t think that’s really true. I think what we’re seeing right now is an attempt to bully by practicing strikes on Russian facilities using bombers and missile carriers, practicing for the purpose of attacking Russian submarines.”

It is important to note in this context that the standing U.S. Nuclear Posture Review (NPR) does not rule out a first strike. This was emphasized by Russian President Vladimir Putin in his news conference on Dec. 9, 2022 in Bishkek, in which he said: “The United States has a theory and even practice. They have the concept of a preventive strike in their strategy and other policy documents. We do not. Our Strategy talks about a retaliatory strike…. But if a potential adversary believes it is possible to use the preventive strike theory, while we do not, this still makes us think about the threat that such ideas in the sphere of other countries’ defense pose to us.”

Trump has followed the practice of letting these dangerous policies "roll on," as Administrations change and he has not ordered a change to this aspect of the U.S. NPR, either in his first administration, or, so far, his second. Nor has he reversed most of the Biden-era military doctrines. Without a change in the West’s commitment to geopolitics and dangerous confrontation against both Russia and China, we may, despite improvements in the diplomatic realm, find ourselves locked into a confrontation that could quickly turn nuclear.

Sept. 8—During the Q&A session following his speech at the Sept. 5 plenary session of the Vladivostok Eastern Economic Forum, Russian President Vladimir Putin raised the intention for trilateral economic cooperation between Russia, China and third countries, including the United States:

“By the way, we have already discussed possible work in a trilateral format on some of our Arctic fields with our Chinese friends. In fact, all these options are being discussed, they are on the table. We only need a political decision. This is possible, and cooperation in both gas and oil would be mutually beneficial.”

This came immediately after Putin had stated that cooperation with American companies in Alaska and the Arctic more generally was a real possibility: “We can work together in the Arctic.”

While Putin didn’t specify trilateral cooperation between the U.S., China, and Russia, his special envoy Kirill Dmitriev did raise the possibility explicitly on the eve of the Vladivostok Forum. Dmitriev told Zvezda television on Sept. 2, “Certainly, Russia is eyeing the opportunity of joint Russia-China-U.S. projects, including in the Arctic region, specifically in the energy sector also. We exactly see that projects should not be divided there into Russian-Chinese or Russian-U.S.,” he remarked. “We see joint investments are possible, including for Chinese and American investors, into joint projects, including in hydrocarbon projects in the Arctic.”

Sept. 9The Schiller Institute released the following statement on Sept. 5, 2025 for immediate circulation internationally. It was written as a rallying call during this period of change and tumult, and individuals are encouraged to endorse it.

At the summit of the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) in Tianjin—representing around 42 percent of the world’s population—a new world order has emerged, independent of the West, founded on the principles of sovereignty, non-interference, mutually-beneficial economic cooperation, and peaceful collaboration. It is an event of global historical significance that China and India—the two most populous nations, already representing 35 percent of the world’s population—have now begun to cooperate closely with each other and with Russia. The countries gathered at the SCO, along with the various interconnected organizations such as the BRICS, the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), ASEAN, CELAC, and the African Union (AU), collectively represent 85 percent of humanity.

The emergence of this new world order is a response to the collective West’s attempt, after the end of the Cold War, to establish a unipolar world under Anglo-American dominance—marked by endless interventionist wars, sanctions, and regime-change efforts—which has ultimately backfired completely. The nations of the Global Majority are now overcoming an era of 500 years of colonialism and asserting their right to independent economic development. This is made possible above all by China’s unprecedented rise, which offers countries of the Global South a model and the cooperation that the West denied them for centuries.

Thus, the world has reached an absolute turning point. We can either continue the geopolitical confrontation against Russia and China, risking a third—and this time final—world war, or we can choose to cooperate with this emerging new economic system. President Xi Jinping has proposed the vision of a “Community with a Shared Future for Mankind,” which he emphasized in his Sept. 3 speech commemorating the 80th anniversary of Japan’s defeat: “Humanity will either sink together, or rise together!”

It is in the fundamental self-interest of the nations of the Collective West—no longer truly united—to cooperate with the states of the Global Majority and to jointly address the great challenges facing humankind: overcoming poverty and underdevelopment, ensuring lasting world peace, and securing the right of every person on this planet to fulfill their potential.

For the realization of a shared community for the future of humanity!

Sept. 8Financial Times headlines: “Thailand’s ‘Cannabis King’ Poised To Be Next Prime Minister.” Anutin Charnvirakul, the leader of Bhumjaithai party, reports FT , “from a family that owns a major construction company and who has been kingmaker in Thailand for the past decade, is best known for his support for the decriminalization of cannabis.”

Five prime ministers have been removed by the royalist Constitutional Court over the past 17 years, including the ousting, just last week, of former Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra after the court found her guilty of ethics violations. This is the third member of the still very popular Shinawatra family: Thaksin, who broke the royalist domination of the country’s political leadership, his wife Yingluck, and now his daughter Paetongtarn. The so-called “red shirts” ran foreign-instigated color revolutions against the family.

Anutin, whose Bhumjaithai party, or Pride of Thailand, is the third-largest in parliament, struck a deal this week with the opposition People’s Party, the largest political group, which should give him enough votes in the lower house to win. As part of that pact, Anutin has vowed to dissolve Parliament within four months and call a general election.

The People’s Party, formerly known as Move Forward, received the most votes in the 2023 election, but was blocked from power, and its leader barred from politics for a decade, because of the party’s calls to reform the royal defamation law, FT reports. While the People’s Party will vote for Anutin, it will not join the new government.

Anutin, 58, is a conservative and staunch royalist. He served as Paetongtarn’s deputy and interior minister as part of the coalition government.

Sept. 8AP published satellite imagery Sept. 4 showing new construction going on at Israel’s Dimona nuclear site. The construction work, they say, has recently intensified on a major new structure which experts consulted by AP say could be a new reactor or a facility to assemble nuclear arms—but secrecy shrouding the program makes it difficult to know for sure. Other sources report that the Netanyahu security cabinet secretly approved moves to increase and upgrade Israel's nuclear arsenal following its 12-day war with Iran. Infrastructure to support such action, these sources say, is being put into place, and activity at Dimona is related to that.

The work at the Shimon Peres Negev Nuclear Research Center near the city of Dimona will renew questions about Israel’s status as the Mideast’s only nuclear-armed state, AP continues. It could also draw international criticism, especially since it comes after Israel and the United States bombed nuclear sites across Iran, in June, over their fears that the Islamic Republic could use its enrichment facilities to pursue an atomic weapon. Seven experts who examined the images all said they believed the construction was related to Israel’s nuclear weapons program, given its proximity to the reactor at Dimona, where no civilian power plant exists. According to wikipedia, Israel has no civilian nuclear power plants generating electricity. An examination of historical imagery available on Google Earth shows that construction began at the site no later than sometime in 2021

AP then goes on to quote experts on either side of the debate. “It’s probably a reactor—that judgement is circumstantial but that’s the nature of these things,” said Jeffrey Lewis, an expert at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, who based his assessment on the images and Dimona’s history. “It’s very hard to imagine it is anything else.” It’s not unreasonable to think so. AP notes that Dimona’s current heavy water reactor, which came online in the 1960s, has been operating far longer than most reactors of the same era. That suggests it will need to be replaced or retrofitted soon.

“If it’s a heavy water reactor, they’re seeking to maintain the capability to produce spent fuel that they then can process to separate plutonium for more nuclear weapons,” said Daryl G. Kimball, the executive director of the Washington-based Arms Control Association. “Or they are building a facility to maintain their arsenal or build additional warheads.”

Sept. 8—The heartbreaking Palestinian film "The Voice of Hind Rajab" has won the Silver Lion Grand Jury Prize, which is the second-place award, at the 2025 Venice Film Festival. The docudrama received this prestigious honor for its powerful portrayal of the death of a five-year-old Palestinian girl in Gaza.

The debut press screening of the film at the Festival Sept. 3 had created what one seasoned movie critic said was an “atmosphere that was like nothing this longtime festivalgoer has ever seen.” The standing ovation lasted nearly 23 minutes, a festival record. The film has no bloodshed and no images of violence, yet even the movie crew was constantly in tears during the making of the film. The film uses tapes of cell phone conversations between the girl and family members and the Red Crescent to tell its story of senseless slaughter of innocents, an everyday occurrence in Israel's genocidal war against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

Based on true events, the story started on January 29, 2024 when Israeli forces demanded that the residents of Gaza City evacuate the area immediately. The family of Hind Rajab, a six-year old Palestinian girl attempted to flee the area and began to drive north in the family car.

But they stopped at a gas station a few hundred meters away and became trapped by Israeli forces. Hind’s 15-year old cousin, Layan, called an uncle saying that their parked car was surrounded by Israeli soldiers who were firing at the car. Layan told the uncle that the Israelis killed everyone in the car except Layan and Hind.

The Palestinian Red Crescent called the two girls in the car later that afternoon. While Layan was on the phone, there were 62 gun shots and the line went dead in under one minute. Only five-year old Hind remained alive in the car. The Red Crescent called back immediately, and Hind picked up the call. The Red Crescent arranged permission from Israeli authorities to send an ambulance to rescue Hind, but as the ambulance turned onto the street where Hind was located, there was a loud explosion and contact was lost with the ambulance, which had been attacked and was destroyed.

Hind was still alone in the car surrounded by the dead bodies of her family members. The Red Crescent was able to get Hind’s mother on the phone, and they all tried to keep Hind talking. She said that she did not want to talk because every time she opened her mouth, blood came out and she did not want to get her clothes dirty which would be difficult for her mother to clean. Hind said that it was getting dark outside and that she was afraid. She begged them to come and take her away. The call dropped and the Red Crescent was never able to regain contact with her. It was the final phone call of her life.

For nearly 2 weeks rescue workers were not allowed to enter the area, but when they finally arrived, they found the destroyed ambulance and the family’s parked car with 335 Israeli bullet holes. Hind and her family were buried together outside the Al-Shifa Hospital. Their murders became a rallying-cry around the world.

Tunisian movie director Kaouther Ben Hania obtained the full 70 minutes of the recorded phone conversations from the Palestinian Red Crescent emergency call center in Ramallah and also interviewed Hind’s mother. The movie allows the recorded voice of Hind to tell the story as the viewer is put in the heart-wrenching position of the call center workers. In the call center, we see the photos of the 18 “humanitarian worker martyrs” who had been killed in earlier missions trying to rescue others. The movie trailer can be seen here

Sept. 7—Russian President Vladimir Putin took questions after his speech at the EEF Plenary Sept. 4.

The moderator first asked about Russia’s unique relations with China and India. referring to the relationship between the Elephant, the Dragon and the Bear. Putin underlined that these relationships were very important, but that the thrust of Russia’s foreign policy was multilateral, and these relationships were not exclusive. He also noted that Russia was not only home to the Bear, but also to the Ussuri tiger. Russian policy was focused multilaterally, he said, open to all nations. " For political reasons," he said, “many European companies have exited—yes, at a loss to themselves. We are aware of this and remain in contact; many are eager to return as soon as political restrictions are lifted. We do not turn our backs on anyone. Contrary to suggestions that we are "looking elsewhere," we are not… Our foreign and economic policies remain stable and predictable."

At one point he observed that the discussion on the Asia-Pacific had primarily dealt with Russia’s relations with China and India. “But the Asia-Pacific region also includes, say, the United States. And there are a lot of "interested parties" there who want to resume or start new work with us," Putin said. “We have good proposals for working with US companies in Alaska. Moreover, there are resources there, and we have technologies for gas extraction and liquefaction, which are much more efficient than those that some of our American partners have. They know this, and at the level of economic participants, companies are ready for cooperation. It does not depend on us—we are also ready, but if there are political decisions there, we will move in this direction, and we can work together in the Arctic.”

In reply to a question about President Donald Trump, Putin said that he was open to conversations with Trump and that they also have an agreement to hold phone conversations whenever necessary. He said, however, that he had not talked to Trump since his visit to China.

On Ukraine, he said that if the Europeans send "peace-keeping" troops to Ukraine, they would legally be regarded as targets for Russian forces. He said he would respect security guarantees that were developed for Ukraine and Russia, although no one has discussed security guarantees with Russia at a serious level. He said that if agreements on long-term peace were reached, Russia would implement them in full. He said he would be ready for contacts with Ukraine, but under the present conditions, he didn’t see that they would be very fruitful, and that it was unlikely that Kyiv would have the will to do so. If such a meeting would take place, Ukrainian leader Zelenskyy should come to Moscow.

Sept. 7The following is a machine translation of an article, published on August 11, by the TASS Russian news service, based on an interview with Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche. She was asked for her perspective on the then-upcoming August 15 Summit in Alaska between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump.

The founder of the international Schiller Institute said that the August 15 summit “promises to be more than just an attempt to find a way to resolve the crisis in Ukraine”

WASHINGTON, August 11. /TASS Corr. Sergei Yumatov/. The meeting of Russian and U.S. Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump on August 15 in Alaska could allow the two countries to resume work on promising joint projects, including the construction of a tunnel under the Bering Strait that would connect Chukotka and Alaska. Helga Zepp-LaRouche, founder of the international Schiller Institute, expressed this opinion in an interview with a TASS correspondent.

According to her, the upcoming summit “promises to be more than just an attempt to find a way to resolve the crisis in Ukraine.” “The presidents of the two countries may finally decide to build a 100-kilometer tunnel under the Bering Strait, which would connect Eurasia and America and facilitate the development of the vast resources of Siberia and the Far East, where the largest deposits of all the elements that can be found in the periodic table are located,” the expert noted. According to her, “the joint development of these resources could become an ideal conflict prevention program and a benefit for all of humanity.”

The idea of implementing a project within the framework of which a more than 100-kilometer tunnel would be built under the Bering Strait to connect the transport systems of Eurasia and America has been discussed for decades. As the Times newspaper noted in 2011, citing British experts, the transportation of goods along the Eurasia-U.S.A. highway, which would also connect resource-rich but sparsely populated areas of the planet with key overpasses, would be less expensive, faster and safer than by sea.

On August 8, Trump said that he expected to meet with Putin in Alaska on August 15. Then, plans for these talks were confirmed by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov. According to him, the leaders will focus on discussing options for achieving a long-term peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. The Kremlin expects the next meeting between Putin and Trump to take place on Russian territory, Ushakov said.

The Bering Strait is a strait between the easternmost point of Asia (Cape Dezhnev) and the westernmost point of North America (Cape Prince of Wales). The strait’s narrowest width is 86 km, and its shallowest fairway depth is 36 meters. The strait connects the Arctic Ocean (Chukchi Sea) with the Pacific Ocean (Bering Sea). It is named after the Russian navigator Vitus Bering, who passed through this strait in 1728. The first of the known navigators to pass through there, in 1648, eighty years before Bering, was Semyon Dezhnev, after whom the cape in the strait was named.

Sept. 7—China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiankun replied in his Sept. 4 press conference to the claims of EU Foreign Affairs Representative Kaja Kallas that Beijing’s 80th Anniversary commemoration of the end of the 1931-1945 war against Japan, was aimed at the “rules-based international order.” He replied to a question from Global Times:

“The statements by the relevant EU official are full of ideological bias without basic historical common sense, and blatantly stoke rivalry and confrontation. It’s a disrespect to the history of World War II and harms the EU’s own interests. It’s very wrongful and irresponsible. China firmly opposes and condemns that.

“The Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression is an important part of the World Anti-Fascist War. Eighty years ago, with enormous national sacrifice, the Chinese people made great contributions to saving humanity’s civilization and defending world peace. At that time, friends from Russia, the U.S. and some European countries offered precious assistance and support to the Chinese people in our resistance against aggression.

“Only by remembering history can we truly uphold peace. China hosted the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War in order to remember history, honor the fallen heroes, cherish peace and create a better future, and to jointly defend the victorious outcomes of World War II and post-war international order with all peace-loving countries in the world. Twenty-six foreign heads of state and government, more than 20 high-level representatives of foreign governments and heads of international organizations, and over 100 diplomatic envoys from other countries, including 19 European countries, attended the events. They are from five continents across the world. The participation is highly representative. That precisely shows the international community has wide recognition of the historic contribution of China’s war of resistance and its world significance as well as the common aspiration and determination to safeguard world peace and stability.

“In the current volatile and turbulent international landscape, the world needs, more than ever, solidarity and cooperation. Europe, where World War II was unleashed, is supposed to have a far deeper understanding of the lessons of history and the importance of unity. However, some EU leaders have been sticking to Cold War mentality and severe ideological bias and deliberately created division and confrontation. This does not serve the EU’s own interests and will further harm its reputation and influence in the world. We hope some in the EU will abandon their prejudice and arrogance, establish a correct historical perspective of World War II and a rational perception of China, immediately correct the wrongful remarks, undo negative influence and contribute to a more peaceful and stable world and sound China-EU relations, rather than the other way around.”

Sept.7Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the plenary session of the Far Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok Sept. 5. This is the tenth year of the Forum, and the 22nd year of the presentation of the Far East Development Strategy by the Putin government. He noted that the gross regional product of the Far Eastern Federal District has doubled in 10 years; coal and gold mining have increased 1.7 times in the last decade; the average wage has doubled, and the poverty rate has declined, from 11.3% to 7.2% over 10 years—lower than the national average.

Putin stated that the Far East will become a region of high-technology development, including in the field of digital development. AI will be used to better utilize pilotless drones, which can work some of the agricultural fields in Sakhalin, and other difficult regions. They could also be used to deal with forest fires in regions where it is difficult to transfer people quickly. Several new universities are also being planned for the area.

He stressed the need for creating the means of culture and recreation, to make the various areas more pleasant to live in. There is also a major move to create room for tourism in the region. The population has continued to decline, but over the last five years at half the rate it had in the previous five years. The number of people moving into the region is rising steadily, albeit not at a rate yet sufficient to offset the decline. There has, importantly, been a notable, steady increase of youth in the aged 20-24 in the region. Transportation logistics are a priority, with both the Trans-Siberian Railway and the Baikal-Amur Mainline being modernized, to expand the carrying capacity by 1.5 times by 2032 and building more access to seaports. There is now, for example, a north-south rail connection, linking the northern Arctic areas to the ports in the south.

In his speech, Putin announced the construction of a Trans-Arctic Corridor, connecting logistics and trade routes across the Arctic, and spanning Siberia, the Russian Far East, and North Korea. Putin said the network would extend to North Korea, with a bridge across the Tumen River, and another linking Russia with the North, scheduled to open next year. He also said plans are in the works to build more bridges linking the North with Russia. “We often speak about the Northern Sea Route,” Putin said. “But if you have noticed, I specifically said—and continue to say—Trans-Arctic Corridor, because we have concluded that we need to operate on a larger scale, and that this artery must function as part of a complex system with all the territories adjoining the Northern Sea Route and their capacities.”

Another element in this planning process, is the further upgrading of the Russia-China relationship, even after the just-concluded Beijing meetings. China has now established visa-free access for Russian visitors. Putin said that Russia would reciprocate, by revising the visa restrictions on Chinese travelers. There are presently two bridges spanning the Amur River which borders Russia and China. One can expect more Chinese involvement in the Russian Far East as a result.

Putin instructed his government to draft a rare earths development plan by November, and pledged to expand exchanges and encourage foreign entrepreneurs to come and participate in this colossal development project.

The announced plans, it should be pointed out, mirror those of Russia’s Prime Minister Sergei Witte at the beginning of the 20th century, including building the original Trans-Siberian Railway. Witte thought that by using a system of subsidies and support, he could begin populating these vast regions in the East and create a corridor of trade and development to the Asia-Pacific region. The British-manipulated Russo-Japanese War put a stop to that, and ultimately to the Russian Empire itself. Now, under President Vladimir Putin, Russia has developed a similar system of support for those living in the region and willing to migrate to the region, intent on making the Far East of Russia a hub of development and trade. He is also extending the notion of “priority development zones” to the entire region, which now are limited to specific sites and areas. And here, too, in a far different situation, the massive material resources represent for Russia a key component for its own, and the world’s, continued economic development and prosperity.

Sept. 7—Before returning to Moscow after his successful four-day visit to China, Russian President Vladimir Putin spent a few days in Vladivostok, where he gave a speech at the plenary session of the Far Eastern Economic Forum on Sept. 5. He also held a meeting Sept. 4 on the fuel and energy complex of the Far East where he underlined the need for increased energy with the rapid development occurring in the region and the need for safe and efficient energy transmission to households and businesses. He discussed the major nuclear projects in Vladivostok and Khabarovsk, as well as two smaller energy plants in other parts of the Far East and a floating nuclear plant near Chukotka, to assist a major mining operation in that area.

Putin also spoke of the need to begin the construction of hydroelectric plants for better utilizing the powerful rivers in the Far East region. This would allow the authorities to deal with the energy needs, water supply, and flood control in the region. Putin further declared that the tremendous supply of coal in the region could be more effectively utilized for the region’s energy needs, taking the usual environmental precautions.

Putin raised the opening of new facilities on the same day: the Artem multimodal logistics center; the Khabarovsk International Airport terminal; and the first building of the Innovative Scientific and Technological Center.

In Vladivostok, Putin visited an exhibit on the 155th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet, a unit that had been conducting the some of the most difficult operations in the special military operation in Ukraine. He was hosted by a soldier, with considerable medals on his chest, who explained the exhibit. He chatted with some of the younger members of the military, including two young women soldiers, twins, who even asked to hug the President, which he of course permitted. Aug. 8—After media efforts to sabotage a new and urgent effort by President Donald Trump and his Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to end the bloody, genocidal slaughter in Gaza and return all the hostages held by Hamas, dead and alive, sources close to the White House report that they have indications that Hamas will agree to the terms of the new American plan.

Hamas officials, who had been prodded by the media to respond to what had been more than a week of backchannel discussions with the Administration through intermediaries, had initially denied that there were any "direct" negotiations going on with the Trump administration, and that they had received no new American plan—the former being technically correct, while the latter was a lie. This morning those same officials said that they are in receipt of the Trump plan and were studying it.

A Final Warning from Trump

In statements to the media yesterday, Trump said that he had issued his last warning and urged them to accept the deal on the table. “We’re working on a solution that may be very good,” he told reporters. He declined to give further details. “You’ll be hearing about it pretty soon. We’re trying to get it ended, get the hostages back.”

“The Israelis have accepted my Terms. It is time for Hamas to accept as well,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. “I have warned Hamas about the consequences of not accepting. This is my last warning, there will not be another one!”

Hamas later said that it received some ideas from the United States’ side through mediators to reach a ceasefire deal in Gaza and was discussing ways to develop those ideas. It also gave no details of the possible agreement. The Israelis have said they have not been formally presented with a plan, but other sources say that have been given was sent to Hamas.

Terms of the Proposed Agreement

Hamas, in its statement, also reiterated its readiness for negotiations to release all hostages in exchange for a “clear announcement of an end to the war” and the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the enclave.

According to the sources close to the White House, Hamas has sent positive signals back to Trump about agreeing to basic terms that have been presented: That includes the immediate release of all hostages—the 20 who are thought to be living and the 28 who are dead-- in exchange for the release of thousands of Palestinians detained or jailed by the Israelis, including hundreds serving life sentences for "terrorist acts; it also includes a total and immediate ceasefire, that would end the threat from the Butcher of Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu to go ahead with his planned attack on Gaza City. There would be a statement of the intention of both parties to end the war, and resolve all remaining issues through negotiations, and that the ceasefire would hold until all issues are resolved in serious talks, that the mediators—the Americans, Qatar and Egypt—would steer towards a result. The American President would personally guarantee that the war would end, and that Israel would, under a plan to be discussed, withdraw from Gaza. Hamas would lay down its arms and relinquish control of Gaza to and Arab civilian government, whose members would be negotiated, but with no Hamas participation.

The sources say that with the implementation of this agreement, Israel will not longer restrict or hinder the entry of humanitarian aid to the starving and sick and wounded Gazans, and that this aid would be distributed by competent international agencies, such as the UN and Red Crescent, with the Americans having overall responsibility for the program and its proper administration. There was no reference to the deadly and incompetent efforts administered currently by the American and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF); one source said that their operations would be taken over by competent agencies.

Trump’s Leverage Over Netanyahu

The key to this program and Hamas acceptance is the personal guarantee of Trump that it means the end of the war. The sources say that Trump and Witkoff believe that Hamas wants to end the slaughter, but that they are not sure that Bibi does. "This is Trump's plan, an American plan," said one source. "Trump wants Bibi to accept his authority here. What will also be discussed in negotiation is the plan for Gaza's redevelopment. Trump has come to understand that this cannot involve the relocation of Gazans. The plan needs to be discussed, but not with Hamas. It needs to be discussed with what comes after Hamas. By Bibi insisting on killing more people, you will never get to peace."

Trump knows, the source said, "and Witkoff reinforces this, that to end the war, you have to be willing to abandon Bibi to his just political fate. Keeping his government in place is not possible if the war is to end. But Trump has the power in Israel to force his will on the government, which has lost its moral fitness to survive in the eyes of the world and most Israelis. This time, Trump is not willing to accept Bibi's sabotage of an end to the killing. That's what is being said. Let's see if he has the guts to do what he is saying and force a deal."

Military Pressure and Hostage Families’ Response

This and other sources say that Bibi has been able to survive also in part do the stupidity of Hamas, which has little real support among Gazans. In the past, they have refused to accept deal terms, enabling Bibi to blame them for blocking peace, which he neither supports nor wants.

Things will be moving fast now, as Trump is intent on blocking Bibi's new slaughter in Gaza City. The White House sources say the Administration has made sure that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) leadership has been briefed on the peace push. The IDF leadership has contradicted Bibi's claim of a quick and violent defeat of Hamas in the offensive and had urged the government to accept the 60-day ceasefire and partial hostage release deal that was accepted by Hamas three weeks ago, and which the Israeli government has yet to respond to. The IDF leadership, including its chief. Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, has told the hostage families that they believe the push to occupy Gaza City puts the lives of the living hostages in danger.

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum welcomed the report of the U.S. proposal, saying that if it is indeed on the table, "it represents a true breakthrough."

The hostage families added that "The personal guarantee of the President of the United States is a historic step without precedent. Such an agreement would advance a broader regional settlement, secure the release of all hostages, and allow soldiers and reservists to return home to rebuild their families and livelihoods."

Mediators and the Path Forward

As reported in Haaretz, the American conditions were conveyed recently by an Israeli mediator, peace activist Gershon Baskin, who is considered to have good relations with senior Hamas officials and was key in a deal between Israel and Hamas to release abducted Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who was held captive in Gaza from June 2006 to October 2011.

Channel 12 also reported that Palestinian activist Bashara Bahbah is involved in the talks, which was confirmed by White House sources, who said that both emissaries are working closely with Witkoff.

Last month, Baskin detailed Hamas' consistent demands in the negotiations for a deal in a column he wrote for the Zman Israel news site, in which he argued that the group supports a comprehensive deal to release all Israeli hostages, and not a partial agreement. According to him, Hamas has been willing to release all hostages in exchange for the end of the war, Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, the release of Palestinian prisoners and a significant increase in the entry of aid into the Strip.

Baskin says that in August 2024, he received a written statement according to which Hamas is willing to relinquish control of postwar Gaza to a professional Palestinian government – a government the group would not take part in.

"If Hamas is smart, they will take the Trump plan and run with it," said the source. "We hear that is what they are going to do. That would place all the heat on Bibi. Trump and Witkoff are looking to make a big play here. It may be the case that when the hostages are released, they will turn them over, not to the Israelis, but to the Americans. I would not rule out either Trump or Steve being visibly in charge of this. That would send the right optic. And then have Trump give them to Bibi. I think that is a real possibility."

Sept. 6—On September 5, after his plenary speech at the 70-nation Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an intervention into his own press conference. He noticed that, on the topic of the Asia-Pacific “Eastern Frontier” of economic development, including Russia’s Eastern Siberia, as well as the Arctic, questions were focused only on India, China, and Russia itself—“the Elephant, the Dragon, and the Bear.” Putin objected that the vision of the questioners was too limited. “But the Asia-Pacific region also includes, say, the United States. And there are a lot of ‘interested parties’ there who want to resume or start new work with us,” Putin observed. “We have good proposals for working with U.S. companies in Alaska.

If U.S. President Donald Trump had gone to Beijing this past week, the work begun on Aug. 15 in Anchorage would have been significantly advanced. No matter: It must still be done. If Trump dares to meet with Presidents Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin, preferably together, in the near future, it will then become obvious—and especially painfully obvious to the British enemies of the United States, and of world economic progress—that a new just world system, with a new security and development architecture, can be inaugurated without the danger of thermonuclear war. Sixty-two years of near-fatal cultural damage to the United States, since November 22, 1963, can be arrested, and then reversed. The American people must pick themselves up, dust themselves off, and make this happen.

In his article, “Where Franklin Roosevelt Was Interrupted,” by Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr. (June 16, 1998), statesman Lyndon LaRouche referred to a moment, earlier than November 22, 1963, when America was first compromised: April 12, 1945, the day FDR died:

“Until the untimely death of U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the post-war policy of the U.S.A. was to have been the elimination of the dominant role of what Roosevelt described as the two most obnoxious features of Britain’s imperial policies. These two leading targets of Roosevelt’s intended such reforms, were, chiefly, the elimination of the dominant ‘British Eighteenth-Century methods’ (liberal economics policy of Adam Smith) in world economic affairs, plus the eradication of the Venetian, financier-oligarchical relics of British, Dutch, French, and Portuguese imperialism….

“The U.S. objective had been, to establish an ‘American Century,’ based on the principle of cooperation among a post-imperial world of perfectly sovereign nation-state republics, each and all enjoying access to those same opportunities for benefits of scientific and technological progress, which U.S. patriots had fought Britain and its puppets, several times, to secure for ourselves….”

The United States, after FDR’s death, sided with the British imperialist outlook far too often. Rogue intelligence agencies overthrew governments and assassinated leaders. But sometimes, individuals, including in our Congress, stood up to fight, against the odds, for the true anti-colonialist interests of the United States. For example, in a similar moment to this one, Congressman Adam Clayton Powell (D-NY), when the Anglophile U.S. State Department refused to attend the historic Bandung Conference, would be neither silenced nor constrained. Powell wrote: "In 1955, the Department of State deliberately and calculatedly imperiled the future of the United States of America for perhaps the rest of our lives. It did so despite advice from me which every subsequent event of history has more than supported. On April 19, 1955, for the first time in the history of the world, 29 nations of Africa and Asia met together at Bandung, Indonesia….

“I … wired President Eisenhower suggesting that a Goodwill mission be sent. On February 16, I was shocked to receive as my reply, a copy of a memorandum to the White House from the Department of State. ‘The United States will not be a participant, we will have no plans to send observers, and Congressman Powell should not be encouraged in his apparent hope to attend the conference as an observer.’ Until this moment, I had not decided to attend, but when I realized that our government’s stupidity would not allow them to send an observer to this, one of the most significant conferences in our times, I then informed the White House that I was going to Bandung anyway, and that I was going to pay my own way.”

We must now act in that same spirit: Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche, at the Sept. 5 International Peace Coalition meeting, proposed a statement that wholeheartedly endorses and proposes a unity of purpose between “the West” and the Global Majority. It reads in part: "In an event of global historical significance, China and India, the two most populous nations already representing 35% of the world’s population, have now begun to cooperate closely with each other and with Russia. These countries, which are also interconnected through organizations, such as the BRICS, the Belt and Road Initiative, the Eurasian Economic Union, ASEAN, CELAC, and the African Union, collectively represent 85% of humanity.

“The emergence of this world order is a response to the collective West’s attempt after the end of the Cold War to establish a unipolar world order under Anglo-American dominance, marked by endless interventionist wars, sanctions, and regime-change efforts, which have ultimately backfired completely. The nations of the Global Majority are now overcoming an era of 500 years of colonialism and asserting their right to independent economic development…. It is in the fundamental self-interest of the nations of the collective West, no longer truly united, to cooperate with the states of the Global Majority and jointly address the great challenges facing humankind: Overcoming poverty and under-development; ensuring lasting world peace; and securing the right of every person on the planet to fulfill their potential for the realization of a shared community for the future of humanity.”

The statement is designed to be circulated, not merely for endorsements, but also for use through interventions. Some of these will be reported here in the next days. Our mission, armed with these ideas, and faced with such things as the ongoing moral atrocity in Gaza, is to qualify ourselves to become as large as current history requires us to be. This great moment requires a great people. Colonialism is dead, but the alternative has yet to take its place. Our mission, should we choose to accept it, is to join those that have begun that happy transition, and complete it.

Sept. 5The following is a transcription of remarks made by the late statesman and physical economist Lyndon LaRouche on December 1, 2014. These appeared in the LaRouche movement’s 2014 pamphlet “Why the United States Must Join the BRICS.”

The United States’ establishment under its Constitution is unique. There is nothing in the rest of the world which corresponds to the intention of the U.S. Federal Constitution. We are an entity of our own making, our own type, as contrasted with practically every other nation on the planet.

But what has happened is, there’s been a change in the process, a global change, that the United States is now, essentially, ruined by bad Presidents, especially the past two sets of Presidencies. What we need to do is return the United States to being the United States in its original Constitutional form. We don’t need to make any changes from that principle.

But now, the rest of the world is a little bit different: What you have, for example, with the role of Russia, and its relationship to the BRICS formation. What’s happened is that large nations, and to some degree smaller ones, as opposed to Europe in general, have emerged as major forces. That is, those nations as a group, represent a power, one of the greatest powers on the planet, in terms of political power. And that power is growing. What China’s doing, for example, in terms of space, in terms of the development of the organization of the space system, within Johannes Kepler’s specifications, that’s unique.

So, we have to recognize that the United States is actually a very large part in its own right of what the new world order ought to be. But right now, we have a collection of nation-state systems which are very large, and they vastly outnumber us.

What’s happening with the British Empire’s role, is, we were creating a pseudo-world system, and that’s what the problem is. If we in the United States get rid of Obama and the Bushes and so forth, get rid of that kind of filthy government, then we can readily come into a certain kind of accord with these other nations which dominate the planet right now, which essentially are the dominant features of the planet, in Asia, in South America, and so forth.

So therefore, what we want to do is we want to clean up our mess at home. But we have to also find out, how are we going to relate to these BRICS-types of nations; how are we going to relate to the Russia-China agreement, and so forth; how are we going to take all these large entities which will largely dominate the planet, and include the United States, as a very important element of that combination of nation-states? And that’s what we have to do.

Therefore, we have to clean up the United States, to return it to its principle, get rid of all this stuff, like what the present Republicans seem to be doing right now—get rid of that! Get rid of Obama. Get rid of that stuff! And once we do, we simply have to reestablish the principle of the national Union.

Because we will find then that what will happen is we will be a relative minority on the planet, relative to the large complexes such as in South America, what will come up in Africa eventually, what will happen in Eurasia generally. And Europe, old Europe, and so forth, will be small; the United States will be a very large entity, but not the biggest entity on the planet politically or otherwise.

A New Conception of Sovereignty

So we’re going to have to come to a new arrangement in which we have a new conception of what national sovereignty is. That question has not been posed clearly, as far as I can see, thus far. It’s important that we foresee where we’re going, or where we should be going. And that’s my concern. From my standpoint, I can see clearly where the United States must be going right now.

Just simply take this new arrangement, which is not a simple sovereignty. It is something new. It is not the old notion of sovereignty. It’s a notion of a certain characteristic right of people, to have their own government, their own system, and to have these systems of government, the new systems typified by the BRICS, to come into concert with the United States under what I’ve been pushing for now: And let it flow!

Because we’re going to find that, as is shown to us by what is being done by China in its space program, in which China has taken steps into nearby space in the direction of Johannes Kepler—we’re going to find out that the idea of what a human being is, as opposed to an animal, which is not clear generally, yet, is going to change. What China is doing especially with the space program, is going to change the way we define the meaning of mankind, and a lot of other things.

A Peaceful Revolutionary Change

So, just get ready to see those changes, folding into the system we have today. I would say that within maybe a couple of decades at least, to a couple of generations, you’ll find that the idea of what mankind is, what sovereignty is and so forth, is going to go through a revolutionary change. But it will be a peaceful revolutionary change, and a profitable one.

We just have to proceed step by step, to march in that direction, and to reach the goals which that direction points out.

=========

Lyndon LaRouche also addressed this topic during a discussion which he led on November 29, 2014.

The international system as it has been heretofore, is dying, and there are only two alternatives: general thermonuclear war, or a kind of unity among nations which we see coming out of the BRICS and similar kinds of fora. In other words, the only way that you can maintain society, now, on a global scale, is on a global scale. And that means you have to affirm the fact that the nations are all working, very much as Russia and China are. The Russia-China alliance is a measure of what’s coming, and we’re just a click away from that result.

If you want to be sane, with the bankruptcy of the United States, the bankruptcy of Canada, the bankruptcy of the European nations, the Western European nations—they’re all bankrupt! And they’re never going to come out of that bankruptcy, as the kinds of nations they’ve been treated as so far.

What’s going to happen is, you’re going to have the kind of system which the BRICS represents. The world system will be, in languages and so forth, language practice and so forth, will be somewhat differentiated. But the intention, to be accomplished, of what is to be accomplished, will be more and more unified. Languages will still be used, as such, but the principle, the intention will be unified. You’re getting that tendency in South America now. It’s much stronger there than other places. The Russia-China relationship is typical of this.

The present system, which dumb Americans believe in still, is dying, and it’s waiting to be pushed off the boards, into maybe an empty swimming tank, which would probably make a mess of things. We’re going into a new system where mankind will be a unified system, unified in practices, by means of practices which effect that.

There will be a dividing line in which the distinction is clear. You will still have cultures, national cultures, which may be unique and have unique characteristics of their own, but they’ll all be part of the same kind of process which is trying to find its general unity.

We are now saying, we’re going to a new system. Because we need to have close collaboration with our ally, China, and with other nations, which are close allies, in principle, in intention.

And gradually, we’re going to find more and more agreement, more and more integration based on the search for realization of necessary revolutions in practice. And we’re going to all be united by the principle of Johannes Kepler.

=========
