“What the EU and Hitler’s Four-Year Plan Have in Common”

July 6Under that headline Thomas Röper, editor of the “Anti-Spiegel” website, has noticed how the EU (NATO) rearmament policy is strikingly similar to the one introduced by Adolf Hitler in 1936, with Hitler’s “Denkschrift” to Hermann Goering.

In the memorandum, Hitler wrote that the Soviet Union was preparing an invasion of Europe, and that Germany should therefore be ready for war against Moscow in four years.

“The military power behind this [The Soviet Union’s, ed.] aggressive intent is increasing rapidly from year to year. Compare the Red Army that has actually been created today with the military’s assumptions 10 or 15 years ago to gauge the dangerous extent of this development,” Hitler wrote, and concluded the 6-pages memorandum with two sentences:

“1. The German army must be operational in four years.

“2. The German economy must be capable of waging war in four years.”

Compare this with comments from NATO’s Rutte that “Russia could be ready to use military force against NATO within five years,” (June 9) and Boris Pistorius “We must be ready for war by 2029.”

The only difference is that whereas Hitler used the word “kriegsfähig,” Pistorius used the synonymous word “kriegstüchtig.”

NB: In the Denkschrift, Hitler uses Parson Thomas Malthus’s original arguments to justify the necessity of war and the elimination of useless eaters and the "defectives" from the population: agricultural production is not able to feed the German population in case all Germans have the means to buy enough food. Therefore, Germany needs Lebensraum. and will reduce European populations by whatever means necessary.

NBB: Röper has been hit by EU sanctions. He has been accused of spreading Russian propaganda. Although he is a German citizen, he cannot enter the EU, and his properties are being seized. This level of censorship is the norm in Germany and Europe, and for the most part, goes without protest from the cowed majorities of the population. It is also reminiscent of policy under Hitler's Nazis.
