Bibi Joins Rubio in Effort to Sabotage Iran Nuclear Deal
Feb. 11—Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu will meet with President Donald Trump at the White House this afternoon, where he will join with his ally, the incompetent Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in an effort to derail a developing Iran nuclear deal that would avert an otherwise certain and dangerous war in the region.
According to sources both in Washington and Tel Aviv, Bibi urgently moved up his seventh meeting with Trump from the end of the month in a desperate effort to add his demands that would change the content of the proposed deal to include topics other than the nuclear weapons and enrichment issues. He is joined by Rubio, who has made public statements demanding that the Iranian ballistic missile program, as well as its supposed continued support for Hamas and Hezbollah, be added to the subjects a deal must cover.
Witkoff Works Quietly to Preserve Narrow Nuclear Focus
Sources close to the White House say that Trump’s chief negotiator, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, is quietly working on a solution to the impasse on the enrichment issue that will allow Iran to participate in the operation of an enrichment facility in Iran, with other nations — including Egypt and Saudi Arabia — also participating and under the supervision of a third party, most likely Russia or Turkey. He is also working on a plan to set up a strict inspection regime that cooperates with the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) but is not run by them. Iran believes that the IAEA aided Israel in the targeting and murder of Iranian nuclear scientists during the 12‑Day War.
These sources say that Iran has already agreed to renounce the development of nuclear weapons for all time. They say that the President has been told that a deal is now considered likely, as long as the focus stays on the nuclear issues. Iran has made it clear that they have no intention of negotiating on any other matter until after the nuclear issues are settled. Witkoff agrees with this perspective, and for the moment, Trump is holding firm to this.
Regional Powers Warn Trump: War Would Destroy Gaza Peace Plan
“There are two things going on here,” said the source close to the White House. “Trump wants a nuclear deal signed. And he trusts Witkoff’s judgment on how this is to take place. He also has been told by the regional powers, like Egypt and the Saudis, that any attack on Iran is likely to blow up Trump’s other objective — to move to the next phase of the Trump Peace Plan for Gaza, to get redevelopment projects going, and to move toward turning the whole thing over to the Palestinians. That’s what he wants, and he thinks his Great Big Armada helps put pressure toward these ends. He wants to carry a ‘big stick’ and get people to think he would use it, but he really does not want to risk an attack on Iran.
“He has been told by Witkoff and other people with solid intel backgrounds that no airstrikes will topple the regime in Tehran and instead would likely strengthen it. And if he launches those strikes, Iran will launch an attack with its advanced missile systems that get through the Golden Dome defenses and could kill tens of thousands of Israelis, and then all hell breaks loose.”
Netanyahu and Rubio Push for War; Trump Resists
“Bibi is not interested in peace,” the source continued. “War is what can keep him in power. He has already killed more than 100,000 mostly innocent people, including many women and children, fighting a war beyond any measure of sanity. So, he does not give a shit about a nuclear deal, no matter what he says. He wants war.
“Rubio — now there’s a stupid person. Trump cut him out of the negotiations because what he wants is regime change. And he thinks that a nuclear deal will strengthen the mullahs. The State Department is nuts. So, Bibi and Rubio will push the envelope and try to blow up the deal.”
Sources: A Nuclear Deal Could Also Reshape Iran’s Leadership
A source with decades of experience in the region says that if Trump sticks to his guns and lets a nuclear deal be worked out by Witkoff and the Iranians, he may also achieve one of his other objectives — getting rid of the ancient Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. “They were going to replace him this year, before the war and the recent protests,” said the source. “If a deal is signed, it is likely that he will go.”
Before, the plan was to put his son in his father’s position. Since the riots, that will not happen. The source offered a surprising suggestion about a possible successor — former Iranian President (2013–2021) Hassan Rouhani. “He is a very religious man, with great knowledge of the Koran,” said the source. “He has a lot of support within the country and could be a unifying force. He is also pro‑Western.”
Source Describes Israeli‑Backed Insurrection and Iranian Public Sentiment
There have been more reports of savage Iranian repression of protestors in the Zionist and NATO propaganda machine, including of the murder of injured protestors in hospital beds. The source reported that the majority of Iranians know what happened — “Israeli agents — and there are as many as 100,000 agents and assets in Iran, many who fled Afghanistan when the Taliban took over — hijacked the peaceful demonstrations demanding economic relief, arming mostly unemployed youth, telling them to kill police.
“The riots of Jan. 8–9 were not peaceful demonstrations, but an armed insurrection, with shooters firing from within crowds of people, mostly young people, who came out to see what was going on and then started burning things, etc. The local police in Iran are unarmed, except for batons. They were slaughtered by the armed thugs. Then they sent in the federal police who were armed, but overmatched. Finally, the Mullahs ordered in the Revolutionary Guard, and they killed a lot of people putting down the insurrection. I estimate that around 10,000 people were killed, of which 4,500 were police.”
“Let me explain a few important things,” said the source. “I was in Iran, so I know this. The people hated the Shah because of his arrogance and outright thievery. But they liked those times. Iran was a wealthy nation, and the people did not suffer. The revolution was about religious issues and not economic ones. The other thing is that the people liked America. This will sound strange, but it was true — Iran was America’s most reliable ally in the region, not Israel.
“The people want to have prosperity again. They don’t care about Iran’s nuclear weapons. They want Nikes — not missiles, but sneakers — and the sanctions have hurt. If the sanctions go away, the people will be pro‑American again.
“In the beginning of this year, as the talks got underway, Trump had an 80% popularity in Iran. Then he betrayed the Iranian people and went in with Bibi. But even now, his popularity is around 50%. It will soar if a deal is signed and the sanctions are removed and if there are nuclear reactors for power and desalination. Iran wants water, not bombs. Trump can give them that, or if he stumbles, if he follows Bibi, then you have death on a massive scale. Those are the real choices.”
Next Round of Talks Expected; West Bank Annexation Looms Over Meeting
Sources say the next round of talks will likely take place early next week.
Meanwhile, Trump is likely to clash with Bibi on another issue. Two days ago, the Israeli security cabinet approved plans that could speed up the effective annexation of the West Bank. Trump has promised his Arab partners in the Gaza peace deal that he will not let this happen.
