FBI’s Operation Frühmenschen Rejected by Washington’s Ward 8
July 18—Trayon White, Sr., a former member of the Washington, D.C. City Council, is now being returned to his Ward 8 seat after a special election on July 15. White was targeted by the FBI during much of 2024, arrested in August, and smeared by the local media. Despite this, he was reelected by a 75% landslide in the November 2024 elections, only to be expelled from the City Council in February. Ward 8 voters are familiar with FBI dirty tricks after decades of attacks against their previous Mayor and City Council member, the late Marion Barry. Trayon White is considered to be a protégé of Barry, whose Ward 8 district he represents-- the poorest, most forgotten area of the city.
Barry, who was notoriously set up on drug (cocaine) use charges, but who was never similarly set up on concocted bribery counts, nonetheless was used as an example of "corruption" to help set up the District to be run by a bankers' dictatorship, similar to banker Felix Rohatyn's Control Board and Municipal Assistance Corporation (Big MAC) operation that effectively ran New York City for 40 years, protecting not its citizens, but the bankers' debt payments. The hammer further came down on Barry and his allies when they explored, with the help of the Schiller Institute, rejecting the bankers' austerity demands, and seeking a moratorium on all debt payments, and instead, taking advantage of a little known provision in the District's federal charter that allowed it to ask for funding directly from the U.S Treasury for emergency purposes.
Trayon White was targeted by the FBI’s decades long racist program, which the Bureau called “Operation Frühmenschen,” or "Primitive Man," which targeted African American politicians and leaders. There is widespread belief that the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in 1968 was conducted as part of this program, which had been initiated personally by the Bureau's late racist director J. Edgar Hoover.
At the center of the charges against White is his many years of support and personal involvement in a program designed to keep troubled young men from ending up in jail. This program has been part of the D.C. Department of Youth and Rehabilitation Services and is threatened with budget cuts. An FBI informant, working as part of a plea deal from a previous case, claimed to be a contractor in the program and expressed his concern to White that the program will be eliminated. This FBI then taped an August 9, 2024 meeting with White, where he gave the Councilman an envelope of $5,000 in cash for his political support, to maintain this youth program.
The FBI’s “Operation Frühmenschen” went on for decades and an eyewitness, Hirsch Friedman, described Frühmenschen in detail, writing back in 1988, “The purpose of this policy was the routine investigation without probable cause of prominent elected and appointed black officials in major metropolitan areas throughout the United States.” Friedman gave detailed accounts of J. Edgar Hoover and others in the FBI leadership who believed that African-Americans were incapable of leadership and decided to remove them from positions of power or influence.
Trayon White’s “crime” was trying to keep troubled young men from ending-up in jail, which made him a target of opportunity for Biden's FBI, then under Director Christopher Wray.
