Italian Senator Sergio Flamigni Has Passed Away
Dec. 21—Former Italian Senator Sergio Flamigni passed away at the age of 100 Dec. 10. Flamigni, a partisan leader and member of the Communist Party of Italy (PCI) leadership under Enrico Berlinguer, had made the search for the truth about the late Prime Minister Aldo Moro’s kidnapping/assassination in 1978, his life mission, publishing several groundbreaking books on the topic. His first book, The Spiderweb, exposed the secret P-2 freemasonic lodge control over police and security agencies that prevented a successful operation to save Moro’s life. In his later books, for instance La Sfinge delle Brigate Rosse (*The Sphinx of the Red Brigades), Flamigni exposed the terrorist Red Brigades’ connections to the “black oligarchy,” to NATO intelligence and “stay behind” networks.
For more than two decades, Flamigni had been in dialogue with the movement of Lyndon LaRouche. In his later years, he created the “Flamigni Archive,” which continues his work in truth-seeking.
