Mike Robinson’s UK The Column Journal Publishes Spring Edition

May 21—The UK Column, co-edited by EIR friend and associate, and British political maverick Mike Robinson in Plymouth, UK, has launched a quarterly journal under the name “The Column.” The first issue—Spring 2026—is a 126 page, glossy, full color collection of articles with the title “Deadly Deceptions—Inside the War Propaganda Machine,” with a picture of a Dove of Peace as a Trojan Horse firing at a fort with the words “It’s a gift from the Military Industrial Complex.”

The article on the cover title, “Fabricating the case for war in the 21st century,” is written by Katherine Gun, the former GCHQ intelligence analyst who was tried for leaking a memo showing that the CIA called on GCHQ to help spy on the United Nations, a story that was made into the film, Official Secrets. Vanessa Beeley writes on the Iran War and related US–Israel operations in the region. Mike Robinson himself writes an article on Israel’s Unit 8200, the IDF interface with the high tech sector in Israel, and another on how Trump’s break from Europe and NATO is driving the creation of a European Defense Union.
