Milei in Israel Gushes Over ‘Dearest Bibi,’ Warns ‘We Can’t Coexist’ with Islam
April 22—In the middle of Israel’s barbaric war against Iran and Lebanon, Argentine President Javier Milei made the third trip of his presidency to Israel, to participate as an honored guest in the country’s 78th Independence Day celebration and announce that “we”—Argentina—are at war with Iran. Many Argentines are outraged that Mieli has allied the country with the U.S. and Israeli war party, ignoring Argentina’s long-held neutral foreign policy stance of maintaining respectful and peaceful relations with all nations. Only the Argentine Congress can vote on a war declaration.
Right after arriving in Jerusalem on April 19, and making an appearance at the Wailing Wall, Milei went to meet with “my dearest Bibi” Netanyahu and then to receive an Honoris Causa doctorate from Bar-Ilan University. He got a standing ovation as soon as he proclaimed, referring to Islam, that “there are certain cultures with which we are not going to be able to coexist, because we defend life and they are going to want to kill us,” Página 12 reported him saying. The audience was ecstatic.
Milei also insisted that the Torah was the real antidote to leftism and “satanic” Marxism, and attacked the concept of social justice, as he has many times, calling it “a profoundly unjust view which always ends up in disaster.” Only capitalism, he said, offers a chance to enter paradise, failing to mention that the truly satanic capitalism of Friedrich von Hayek and Ludwig von Mises he has imposed on Argentina has turned life into hell for most of its citizens.
Milei rounded out his trip by participating in Independence Day celebrations, where he was awarded a Presidential Medal of Honor by President Yitzhak Herzog for his “commitment to the State of Israel.” He was the only foreigner ever invited to participate in the torchlight ceremony that is a traditional part of the Independence Day activities.
President Donald Trump had been expected to participate in Independence Week events, where he was to receive Israel's highest award, the Medal of Freedom, but the trip was cancelled by mutual agreement. Sources report that Bibi was angered by Trump's imposition of a ceasefire in both Iran and Lebanon, as the President continues efforts to end Bibi's war of annihilation with Iran. Trump has said that if an agreement is reached, he would come to the region to meet with Iranian leaders, and that he would also go to Israel.
