Pathetic Biden Won’t Bow Out—For Now

June 29—Following his spectacularly disastrous performance in the June 27 CNN debate with former President Donald Trump, the doddering fool who is the current resident in the Oval Office, President “Sleepy Joe” Biden, has defiantly announced his intention to the stay course, refusing to step aside for another Democratic party candidate—any candidate—who could appear cogent under the spotlight, which Biden, despite being jacked up on medications, cannot seem to bring himself do.

His performance June 27, which featured a long, several-moment glacial stare, as he completely lost his train of thought, and finally unfroze with an a mis-stated comment about how he “beat” Medicare when he meant to say “preserve” it, has sent party insiders into a frantic scramble, seeking some other solution than re-nominating the unpopular Biden at the Democratic party convention in August, and face almost certain defeat in November. But Biden, who has always been stupidly stubborn, will not go quietly into the political night, and sources say he will be difficult to dislodge from the ticket.

But, they stress, it is still early in the difficult process, and things can still happen. One stumbling block is that no one wants Vice President Kamala Harris to lead the ticket, and Biden might insist on her as a price for his exit. But certain establishment figures are looking for a completely different tack.

The Biden Administration has been a collection of sometimes warring factions of the Establishment, said a knowledgeable source, with one of the battle points being the strategy in dealing with Russia and China:

“Biden has been won over to be a spokesperson for strategic insanity on both accounts, pushing a dangerous confrontation with Putin in Russia and Xi in China. As for Ukraine, the war is lost, and it is becoming increasingly clear that the U.S, and its lunatic allies in NATO are calling the shots, and those shots are shifting the battle to Russia itself. Where does this lead? To a nuclear war! Only strategic fools—and there are plenty of them—want to go there.

“They think that by forcing Russia to increase its military spending, which it has already done, and at the same time, with sanctions, prevent Russia from doing business in the world and selling their energy resources, that they can thereby force a collapse—just like they did in the 1980s over our fake Strategic Defense program,” the source said.

“But things are different now. Russia has the BRICS to fall back on, and especially China. They have trade partners throughout the Global South and credit from China. The sanctions have hurt for sure—Putin and his people admit that. But the Russians and their partners have struck back in a more devastating way—they are creating payments and trade systems that bypass the dollar. This could in fact blow up the dollar based system, and send the West—the U.S. included—into deep economic troubles.

“Biden is totally clueless on this,” the source said. “He is an old man living in a world, that even were he sentient—which I doubt he is at most times—he could never understand, let alone lead. That is why he has to go—not because of his looking like a fool in the debate.”

This and other sources say that the “preferred” New Age candidate of the enlightened Establishment crowd is California’s Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom. Newsom has been waiting in the wings, working as a Biden loyalist helping him raise money and organizing support on both coasts—from Silicon Valley and Hollywood, as well as from Wall Street.

Newsom has cut a different path on key strategic issues, and sources report, he supports talking to Putin about a land-for-peace deal to settle the war in Ukraine, as well as a larger security/nonaggression pact for Europe that would end what is really a silly reversion to the old, stupid Domino Theory (if South Vietnam falls, then South Korea, then Japan and then ... Hawaii. How well did that turn out?) Now, according to the narrative, the fall of the Ukraine will lead to a Russian invasion of Europe, and who knows what after that.

“Putin has made it clear over and over that he does not want Ukraine, but only the territories with Russian speaking populations that the U.S. State Department had attacked by its friendly Azov Nazis and similar types to provoke this war,” said another source. “The Russians have no plans for taking over Europe, nor could they ever do so. The problem is that the strategists who think this are themselves thinking like Nazis. That world of a land war in Europe is over and they never should have started this needless and crazy slaughter in the Ukraine.”

On China, while Sleepy Joe was waving his finger and talking about a coming Chinese invasion of Taiwan, the source reported, Newsom went to China earlier this year to meet with Chinese leaders to secure trade deals for California, including seeking Chinese help in developing infrastructure such as high speed train lines and even nuclear plants, to help the state meets its goals on limiting carbon fuel use.

“Nothing is decided yet, by a long shot,” said this source, who has warned before about “other means” to change candidates and election choices. This source says no one in the Establishment wants a Trump Presidency. "Trump is a 'wild card,' he stated. “Trump has also called ending U.S. support for wars, while promising he will ramp up military spending. He says he can talk with Xi and Putin and work things out, because he understands them.

“And Trump has openly said that he does not see why the U.S. should go to war to defend Europe if stupid leaders in Europe and Britain want to go to war: ‘Let them defend themselves and spend what is required to do so.’ Trump has questioned the very reason for NATO’s existence and at one point even said NATO will even find a war to make, to justify itself.

“For the Establishment, these are dangerous thoughts, but they seem to reflect the views of the American people. Polls continue to show that Americans don’t really care about Ukraine and would prefer an end to the war and an end to U.S. involvement. They would never support U.S. boots on the ground there—yet the Biden people already have them there programming missiles that are hitting targets in Russia.”

The source warned that at least some people, especially in the military-industrial complex, who continue to push confrontation with Russia and China, simply won’t allow Trump to get to the White House. They are waiting to see what happens July 11, when Judge Juan Merchan has scheduled his sentencing for his 34 felony convictions in the so-called hush money case involving porn star Stormy Daniels. They are hoping that Trump is given jail time, but various legal sources say this is not very likely in a case that many people believe to be totally political and should have never been prosecuted.

“These people sort of already know that Trump is not likely to be stopped by all of Biden’s legal persecutions,” the source said. “That leaves them with some difficult decisions. But I think that some people have already made the decision to stop him, Kennedy fashion. The propaganda groundwork is being laid by continually referring to him as being ‘so divisive,’ with so many people ‘hating’ him, This sets up a ‘lone assassin’ type operation. It would rip the country apart, were Trump to be killed, which may be what some people want: To move for a real military-run police state.

“But Trump has a lot to say about this. He has been warned about such a scenario, and I think he takes the possibility very seriously. But he should say so. He should say ‘My enemies will try anything to prevent me from becoming President again.’ And also say ‘It’s not about Sleepy Joe but the people who rigged that last election and put him in the White House.’ Saying this will make such an operation more costly. They still might do it anyway; these are insane and desperate times.”
