Ritter Says Total Collapse of Ukraine Military Near

Aug. 27—Former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter, during an Aug.. 25 interview with Dima Alkhorshid on his “Dialogue Works” program, assessed that the defeat of Ukraine will come on a timetable that Russia controls, and that Russia is prevailing on the battlefield. In Kursk the Ukrainian offensive is being defeated, Ritter said, because the strategic reserve they committed to Kursk is being hunted down and destroyed. The Russians did not divert substantial forces from the Donbass front to respond to Kursk. Russia is on the cusp of a major victory in Donbass and Zaporozhye as Ukrainian forces are on the point of collapse. 

“We are looking at a strategic Russian victory,” Ritter said. “We’re looking at a Ukraine that has run out of options because they basically threw their strategic reserves into this gambit in Kursk that has failed….,” told the Brazilian journalist Alkhorshid.

Ritter also warned that the new U.S. nuclear doctrine, as recently reported in the New York Times, envisions the use of nuclear weapons against Russia under conditions that are evolving 

“This is a very, very dangerous situation,” Ritter said, noting that when Russian Major General Apti Alaudinov said that either the war ends this year or we face World War III, “he’s not exaggerating.”

Various sources have reported that despite the NATO black propaganda campaign around the Kursk invasion, that gambit was never going to work. "They stripped foces from their already collapsing front lines the eastern oblasts to run what is a cover operation for a terrorist campaign conducted by Waffen-SS type mobile patrols, composed of terrorists and NATO special units to direct them. Their targets were civilians, including women and children in an effort to show that [Russian President Vladimir} Putin could not defend his people, and stupidly thinking that this would force Russia to negotiate before the total collapse of the Ukrainian military. The other object the Kursk gambit was to try to get recalcitrant NATO allies, including some people in the U.S. to allow for NATO to use the Ukraine to launch attacks on the Russian homeland and targets not directly related to war, using the advanced weapons systems already on the ground. This part of the operation appears to working, with calls from stupid politicians and pundits to "unfetter" the Ukraine, and let them use these weapons, such ATACMS  missile systems, to hit Russia."

"This shows the dangerous lunacy in the NATO command that Ritter speaks about and which the Russians have been warning against," said the source. "With the battlefont  lines collapsing, and facing a total rout, NATO has only two real choices. Force their deranged sock puppet dictator Volodymyr Zelenskyyto negotiate on real terms, similar to Putin's land-for-peace offer, or to force Zelenskyy out for someone who will negotiate on those terms. Or to escalate, up the nuclear ladder, to use tactical nuclear weapons against Russian forces. And that will not lead to victory, put the world on a path to a full nuclear confrontation and likely war.

"But there is a third possibility," said the source, "one that few people realize in possible. There are sane people in the Ukrainian military who have wanted to end the senseless slaughter of their troops. They have been not so secretly discussing a framework for a peace deal, starting with a ceasefire, to allow negotiations to take place aorund an agreed upon framework that is not so remarkably similar to Putin's June 14 offer. These people could stage a countercoup against NATO's puppet government in the Ukraine, and the Nazi militias such as Azov, which prop it up. Such an option is growing more likely, as losses mount, and their forces are in total retreat. The insane Zelenskyy has ordered some units to stand and fight to the death; those orders are being ignored, and whole units are reported to be surrendering  en  masse.. This war is coming to an end, in a big defeat for global NATO—a war which they started, but can't finish.".
