Sare and Vega Announce Joint Campaign-Concert Event for Oct. 26 in NYC
Oct. 12—The Sare for Senate 2024 campaign sent the following email invitation to supporters earlier this week, drafted by the candidate for U,S. Senate from New York, Diane Sare:
Friend:
“What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children—not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women—not merely peace in our time but peace for all time.” President John F. Kennedy, June 10, 1963
You are invited: On Oct. 26, at 2:00 p.m., LaRouche independent congressional candidate (15th CD, Bronx) Jose Vega and I are joining forces at a special event in New York City to bend the trajectory of the Western world away from the Armageddon toward which we are currently moving fast, and toward a new paradigm, much more worthy of the dignity of mankind.
I keep asking myself, “How can it be, that with the majority of the American people opposed to sending more money to Ukraine to provoke nuclear war with Russia, and also opposing Israel’s genocidal onslaught against the Palestinian people, that our so-called ‘representatives’ feel no obligation to change their policies? Where are these people when Americans are hit by disaster, as in North Carolina or Hawaii?” We must do more! But not as a protest movement! Jose and I are not protesters. We intend to change the policy of the United States. We cannot afford to lose this fight.
Therefore, I am writing to personally tell you, that the most important single thing that you can do this election season, is to be there with us in Manhattan on Oct. 26.
Join me and Jose and a number of courageous former military and intelligence leaders, including Colin Powell’s former Chief of Staff, Col. Lawrence Wilkerson; former CIA analyst and Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity co-founder Ray McGovern; D.C.-area radio personality Garland Nixon, and many others, including Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche (via video livestream).
This event will be an indoor rally/concert, with musical selections performed by the Sare/Vega Chorus and soloists as well as brass and string ensembles. I don’t think anything like this has been done before, and it is going to have a powerful impact.
