Sare Tells Sputnik, U.S. Must Focus on ‘Mutual Respect for National Sovereignty and the Dignity of Man’
July 22—Diane Sare, independent candidate for U.S. Senate in New York, gave an in-depth interview to Sputnik International on July 21, in the aftermath of Biden’s withdrawal from his otherwise-assured nomination as the Democratic Party candidate for President. The interview, including a large photograph of Mrs. Sare, bore the title, “U.S. Hasn’t Had Functional Leader Since Biden Took Office, Dems Have Few Alternatives—Senate Hopeful.”
Sare described President Joe Biden as unfit to be President, as are all the other candidates currently running. While attacking former President Donald Trump’s support for Israel’s genocide against Palestine, she went on that “Trump has pledged to end the Ukraine-Russia war. … He has truthfully stated that Ukraine is not and cannot win that war, and he has publicly stated that NATO expansion was a factor in causing the conflict.”
Sare assessed that “unfortunately, the United States is not yet playing the role of the nation which defeated that ideology with its 1776 Declaration of Independence. Our nation and most of the Western nations are currently led by dinosaurs that cannot fathom a new dynamic on the planet based on mutual respect for sovereignty and the dignity of man.”
With the United States in a very dangerous timeframe, she said, “The owners of the old bankrupt system are very desperate and seemingly will stop short of nothing to preserve their dying Empire. The good news in this situation is that the dinosaurs are vastly outnumbered by the majority of the world’s population and there are an increasing number of voices for peace, even coming from within the morally bankrupt institutions, as we see with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s efforts to end the Ukraine-Russia war.”
Sputnik International is the sister news outlet of the Russian news service, RIA Novosti, which also released the interview. Sputnik ended the interview reporting that, “Sare will be on the ballot against Kirsten Gillibrand (D) in New York this November.”
