Sare to RT International: A New Security Architecture Must Include Every Nation

Dec. 31—Former candidate for U.S. Senate from New York Diane Sare gave a live 5-minute interview to RT International Dec. 27 for their Moscow bureau. Amidst questions about the pervasive corruption of the Ukrainian Zelenskyy government, Sare was asked about the what was to be the upcoming meeting between Zelenskyy and U.S. President Donald Trump.

Sare replied that she hoped that Trump would have “the fortitude to stick to whatever he and Putin discussed in Alaska...The Schiller Institute has asked and President Putin [has asked,] ‘Can this be resolved outside of discussions for an entirely new strategic, security and economic framework for Eurasia?’ I think we need to really be talking about a new security architecture which takes into account the interests of every nation involved, and I would hope that that’s something which President Trump and at least some of his advisors would be willing to consider.”

In concluding the lively interview, the interviewer exclaimed, “That’s an intriguing idea!”
