Sources: Mexican Drug Cartels Have 'Soldiers' Trained, Armed by Ukrainians
March 8—Sources report that when special Mexican troops last month fought to capture and ultimately kill "El Mencho," the leader of the brutal Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), they were shocked to find that they were apparently fighting cartel soldiers who had been trained and armed by the Ukrainians, who fought for as mercenaries against the Russians. Many of the cartel soldiers wore symbols of the Ukrainian forces, including of the Nazis of the Azov Battalion, where many of the mercenaries were assigned.
In addition, the Mexican army troops found caches of weapons, mostly American-made, and including Stinger-type missiles that could be used to shoot down aircraft, and sophisticated rocket-propelled grenade launchers (RPGs), which are not available easily on the black market in this hemisphere. Sources close to American intelligence believe that they were purchased from stocks available in what is described as "the world's greatest arms bazar," which is run by operatives of the Kyiv regime for their personal profit. These sources say that drug cartels and terrorist organizations have reportedly bought "billions of dollars" worth of American and NATO weapons from Kyiv.
At this point, these sources estimate that more than 25,000 cartel members have served as mercenaries, fighting Russians on the front lines. They receive training from the Ukrainians, and are rushed into service, as Ukraine has exhausted its ability to keep its forces in the field. They are already using Ukrainian teenagers and elderly, over the age 55 in the meatgrinder of this war, which has effectively wiped out a generation of Ukrainians in a losing effort against Russian forces.
Casualty rates are high for the mercenaries, and especially for the cartel soldiers, who are given dangerous assignments. For their efforts, they are paid handsomely, as much as $75,000, depending on the length of service. It is thought that some of this money goes directly to the cartels, as a "service fee" for providing the recruits.
"This is an outrageous situation," said one source. "We are letting the Ukrainians train and arm cartel soldiers who will then wind up fighting our anti-drug people and the law enforcement and military forces in various countries who are working with us to shut down the cartels. The U.S. should shut this down. They should tell Kyiv to stop recruiting from the cartels. Meanwhile, we need to shut down the black-market arms bazar. Why should allow those people to make money giving the cartels and terrorists our weapons, so that they can use them to kill people—including our own forces. From what I understand, this has been brought up in the past, during the Biden Administration, and nothing was done."
