Trump Goes from Blasphemous ‘Jesus Christ’ Portrayal to ‘Armageddonist’ Dupe
April 24—The particular Biblical passage chosen for President Donald Trump to read on the occasion of the ‘America Reads the Bible’ marathon, is connected with Armageddonists’ push to rebuild Solomon’s Temple, on the current location of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Apparently, there is a mystical belief that the third builder of the temple is the Messiah. (Trump as Jesus??) Others say, the issue is that the Old Testament passage from the 7th chapter of 2 Chronicles (11-22) has been used to argue that the U.S. is centered around repenting from sin by becoming a Christian nation. The part that is focused upon reads:
“And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night and said to him, I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place to myself for a house of sacrifice. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
However, the full passage that Trump read goes on to tell of King Solomon, after building the Temple, hearing from the Lord that this special place is the house of sacrifice, the particular location where prayers will be attended to by the Lord, sanctified for Solomon’s descendants “for ever.” Presently, Armageddonists agitate for rebuilding the Temple, first by destroying the al-Aqsa Mosque (the 3rd holiest site in the Moslem world), purifying the site with animal sacrifices, etc., so that the newly erected Temple Mount can expedite God’s time-table for the end-of-the-world confrontation of Gog and Magog, and the final rapture.
Bunni Pounds, founder and president of Christians Engaged, the nonprofit that organized the marathon, said that she prayed Trump would read this particular passage. “I’ve just been praying with a small group of people, asking the Lord to move to allow our president to pray this prayer, the words of God that he would hear,” Pounds said in an interview with CNN.
Sources report that the passage was chosen by Trump in consultation with the witch and fanatical Christian Zionist Paul White-Cain, who is also referred to as his religious advisor.
