Trump Says Killing Iran in Has Stopped, There Will Be No Executions

Jan. 15—With the Zionist/NATO propaganda machine going full blast with unsubstantiated reports of “massacres” of “peaceful” Iranian protestors and plans for executions of those detained, President Donald Trump shocked his more rabid, lunatic associates like Stephen Miller and Secretary of State Marco Rubio by announcing yesterday that the “killing has stopped” and that he had been assured by “the other side” that “there will be no executions.”

“We’ve been told that the killing in Iran is stopping. It’s stopped. It’s stopping, and there’s no plan for executions,” Trump said in the Oval Office. “We’ve been told that the killing in Iran is stopping. It’s stopped. It’s stopping, and there’s no plan for executions.”

Trump declined to say who offered those assurances, aside from “very important sources on the other side.”

“I’ve been told that a good authority — we will find out about it. I’m sure if it happens, we’ll all be very upset,” he said. “But that’s just gotten to me, the information that the killing has stopped, that the executions have stopped, they’re not going to have an execution.”

“There was supposed to be a lot of executions today, and that the executions won’t take place,” Trump said. “And we’re going to find out. I mean, I’ll find out after this; you’ll find out. But we’ve been told on good authority, and I hope it’s true. Who knows? It’s a crazy world. You’ve seen that over the last few days [Iranian officials] said people were shooting at them with guns, and they were shooting back. It’s one of those things, but they told me that there’ll be no executions, and so I hope that’s true.”

The president declined to rule out military action, saying, “we are going to watch and see what the process is, but we were given a very good statement by people that are aware of what’s going on.”

Witkoff Continues Quiet Backchannel Despite Cancelled Meeting

Sources close to the White House report that while the President had the other day cancelled a meeting with top Iranian officials arranged at their request by Special Envoy Steve Witkoff — a meeting that would have led to the finalization of Iran’s nuclear weapons deal while providing assurance that Tehran would allow for peaceful protests of its policies — he did not say that the two sides should stop talking to each other. These sources say that Trump’s statements yesterday reflect discussions between Witkoff and top Iranian officials.

These sources say that the Iranians have also provided some levels of proof that protests had been hijacked last week by youth and others who were both armed and paid by the Israelis, and that Israel was engaged in launching a violent rebellion against the regime and had hoped to provoke Trump into responding to help its intended outcome — to plunge Iran into the bloody chaos of a civil war.

Witkoff has now passed this information on to Trump, and it has been corroborated by the Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and her people. The sources say that there is some suspicion that the CIA and its assets in Iran may have been collaborating with the Israelis. Trump is leaning toward confronting the Israelis and the Butcher of Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu, with this information, said a source. “And even if they deny it, Trump is inclined to believe they are lying.”

Tehran Regains Control as Israeli Assets Are Arrested

Sources in the region report that Tehran now believes that they have regained control of the situation and that they have discouraged Iranians from acting to help the Israelis in causing a civil war. Iranian security forces have continued to arrest people on their list of suspected Israeli assets and agents and have found through interrogation some Israeli arms caches intended to arm protestors. These sources say that the Israelis have already spent millions on this operation.

The sources say, however, that their best assessment is that for now, the civilian government in Iran remains in control. It is significant to note, these sources say, that despite press reports to the contrary, the Revolutionary Guard — the strongest and largest power in Iran, under the control of the mullahs — has not been significantly deployed in the demos that became riots, and they are only guarding key sites important to the mullahs.

The sources in the region, as well as sources in American intelligence, are of the opinion that any U.S. military strike will actually strengthen and not topple the mullahs. And while such assessments are of course debatable, what is not debatable is that any attack on Iran will blow up the President’s crowning achievement, his Gaza Peace Plan, forcing Arabs to withdraw from participation in the next phase of the plan, which involves disarming Hamas and the creation of a Palestinian government for Gaza that will participate in its massive reconstruction.

Witkoff Signals Phase Two of Gaza Plan Moving Forward

Lost in the din around Iran was a post, also today, in which Witkoff announced on X that this second phase of the Trump plan is now underway, and that he expects the cooperation of Israel in this effort. He would not have announced this if he did not believe that the situation with Iran was not going to go “hot,” these sources concur.

“The important thing is that Trump is being forced to deal with Iran as part of a larger process,” said a source, “and this process only works if there is a concept of regional peace, not the launching of a new genocidal war.”

Trump has also been told that much of what is in the Iranian media from the government is for domestic consumption — that the threats against the rioters, and even the talk of executions, are intended to dissuade participation in Israeli-directed riots, and are not necessarily policy statements.

A source with more than five decades’ experience in the region said today that Iran needs to follow up on the opening it has been given to make a deal with the U.S. “The Israelis will not like it,” said the source, “but Donald Trump can make Bibi eat it. The Israeli people, in large part, are weary of war, and if the situation gets out of hand, and the bombers fly, then it will be Israel that will bear the brunt of the Iranian response. Last summer Israel got a mere taste with the Iranian missile barrages of what might happen, as the Iron Dome does not work against missiles.”

Iran Looks to Washington, Not Beijing or Moscow, for Relief

Meanwhile, both Russia and China have offered Tehran their verbal backing against the American threats and are playing up Iran’s participation in the upcoming BRICS Plus meeting. But this source points to the fact that Iran has asked neither China nor Russia to help stabilize its economy, including its currency, which is among the concerns of the protestors. “Iran wants a deal with the United States,” said the source, reminding people that before former Carter National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski threw the Shah under the bus and brought the mullahs and Ayatollah Khomeini to power to help deploy Islamic fundamentalism versus the then Soviet Union, “Iran, not Israel, was the U.S.’s most prominent ally in the region against the Arab-controlled OPEC oil producers. Getting too close to the Chinese is a red flag to some of Trump’s people.”

If there is no U.S. strike in the next 48 hours or so, this and other sources believe that Witkoff may be able to get negotiations going by the weekend.
