Trump Under Pressure to Dump Tony Blair from Board

Feb. 14—President Donald Trump is being pressured by his Arab allies and others to dump former British Prime Minister Tony Blair from his Board of Peace, following revelations that Blair's political mentor and close ally, Lord Peter Mendelson maintained a close and extensive relationship with the degenerate financier Jeffrey Epstein. The evidence of Mendelson's activities with Epstein contained in the release of millions of files by the Justice Department have forced Lord Peter, perhaps the most powerful British politician of the last four decades, to resign from the Labor Party, form which he created Blair out of political mud and made him Prime Minister, and then helped and advised him on a number of matter, including Blair's coverup of the murder of Princess Diana for the Royal Family. He had already resigned from his post as British Ambassador to the U.S.

Sources close to the White House confirm the pressure coming from Arab leaders, who had previously asked Trump to not appoint him, since they attribute Blair with starting on false pretext the war against Iraq in 2003, based on faked evidence of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction, passed on to the United States. Sources say that Blair's appointment was championed by Presidential son-in-law Jared Kushner, whose friendship Blair has solicited.

The sources say that, so far, Trump continues to back Blair, who it is said, he personally does not like, but who Kushner and others say, adds prestige to the Board, which will meet for the first time Feb. 19 in Washington. Blair is not merely on the Board, but is a member of its executive committee.

Trump may yet act to remove him, as other sources report that Blair is expected to come under more fire in Britain. Some Labor Party leaders, sources report, includer former head of the party Jeremy Corbin, who was ousted in coup directed by Mandelson to pave the way for the installation of Sir Keir Starmer, who clings to his position by his fingernails, with two Mandelson-linked associates forced to resign their posts this week.

"There are references to Blair all over the files," a source stated. "Blair is a hated figure in British politics, who has always been protected by his close buddy, Lord Peter. Now people want to know what his role was in the Epstein scandal. Did Lord Peter use him and his office to advance his multiple causes and deals?"

Mandelson is reportedly still active in designing a strategy to protect his friend, which has Blair taking issues with Starmer's policies. But Blair may be just too close to Lord Peter to survive.

Meanwhile, Russia will not be attending this meeting of the Board, the foreign ministry announced two days ago. Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that discussion of Russia's participation were ongoing. President Vladimir Putin, who Trump had personally invited to join, were likely to not be able to attend the meeting due to outstanding warrants from International Criminal Court for alleged crimes committed in the Ukraine war.

A source with knowledge of the discussions, say that Putin remains interested in his participation in the Board.
