U.S. AID Gives $30 Million to Corrupt Gaza Humanitarian Foundation

June 26—While the U.S. government has given the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) diplomatic and logistical support, it has never publicly financed GHF, which was created overnight with private security contractors and military and intelligence assets from Israel and the United States. On June 24 this changed, as a $30 million aid package was rushed through the approval process at the U.S. State Department. There is speculation that this is just the first installment of a $30 million monthly payment plan, while meanwhile the bodies of starving Gazans pile up at distribution points, shot by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and private security contractors to "maintain order.".

The rushed approval is especially unusual for a first-time applicant which has had no experience in aid work, has no track record, and has refused to open its financial records or undergo an audit. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, over 500 civilians have been killed while trying to access the aid at GHF distribution hubs. While children are starving in Gaza these contractors' employees are paid $1,100 per day plus a $10,000 signing bonus, according to reports in Haaretz.

GHF uses as security contractors little-known U.S. firms, Safe Reach Solutions and UG Solutions, which are involved in surveillance and intelligence operations within Gaza, according to reports on Ynet. These firms are allegedly tasked with running checkpoints, analyzing drone and satellite imagery, and identifying armed actors. This all suggests that GHF has a close working relationship with the IDF and is not an impartial humanitarian organization.

On June 23, a letter was sent from 15 international human rights organizations warning GHF, SRS, and UG Solutions that their collaboration with the Israeli government risks “aiding and abetting or otherwise being complicit in crimes under international law, including war crimes, crimes against humanity, or genocide.”

As part of peace talks for a new deal to end the fighting in Gaza, the border would be totally reopened to allow the free flow of aid, which would then be distributed by the United Nations, which Israel has barred from operating in Gaza. The peace talks, progress in which was blocked by the government of the Butcher of Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu, are expected to be resumed in the coming weeks, with a push from President Donald Trump and his special envoy Steve Witkoff.
