Ultra Naté, reflecting on the origins of ‘Party Girl,’ shared, “I wrote the song during the zenith of 90’s New York underground clubbing for an indie film that later became a cult classic. It starred Parker Posey in her film debut. It’s thrilling to see the 90s vibe still resonating, especially when it brings my work back into the limelight. The 1995 version, ‘Party Girl (Turn Me Loose)’, was originally released under the renowned King Street Sounds label in New York City and peaked at #6 on the US Dance Charts.
