Italian Maestro Davide Squillace and House Pioneer Matthias Tanzmann Unveil Dynamic Collaboration ‘Fourth Hour’

Renowned Italian producer Davide Squillace and German house pioneer Matthias Tanzmann have joined forces to create a mesmerizing new track, 'Fourth Hour,' available now through Dirtybird Records.

As two legends in their own right and members of the dynamic trio Better Lost Than Stupid alongside Martin Buttrich, Squillace and Tanzmann bring forth a deep-tech original that is set to captivate underground dance floors worldwide. 'Fourth Hour' pulses with a continuous groove and a relentless four-on-the-floor rhythm, guiding listeners through intricate layers of deep basslines, playful countermelodies, and lively bongo percussion. This track is a hypnotic masterpiece destined to become the heartbeat of the underground scene.

For Matthias Tanzmann, 'Fourth Hour' marks a full-circle moment as he returns to the Dirtybird label. This homecoming follows Dirtybird head honcho Claude VonStroke's appearance on Tanzmann's Moon Harbour imprint last year with 'Don’t Make Sense.' Tanzmann initially made his Dirtybird debut in 2019 with 'The Treat EP.'

Davide Squillace, an artist with a remarkable presence in electronic music, has called Barcelona home and has left his mark on respected labels such as Ovum, Saved, Desolat, Get Physical, Moon Harbour, and Hot Creations, among others. Squillace is also the mastermind behind several record labels, including Sketch, Minisketch, Hideout, and Titbit. He is the creative force behind This And That, a platform where artists can explore projects in music, visual art, design, fashion, and writing. Squillace remains an integral part of Ibiza institution Circoloco and a captivating live performer, gracing the stages of festivals like Warung, Kappa Future, Time Warp, Movement Festival, and Glastonbury.

Matthias Tanzmann has been a prominent figure in the house music scene for over two decades. He holds a residency with the Circoloco crew at Ibiza's iconic DC10 and leads the influential Moon Harbour label. Tanzmann's slick and forward-looking house and techno productions have found homes on labels such as Dirtybird and Saved. In 2019, he released 'Round and Round,' a career-spanning and autobiographical solo album featuring collaborations with Steve Bug and Mathias Kaden. With over 20 years of experience, Matthias Tanzmann continues to be a driving force in the industry.
