This release comes just six months after his ninth studio album ‘Nevertheless’ and presents a refreshing take on the artist's journey.

‘The Greatest Misses’, a sixteen-track compilation, diverges from the traditional 'greatest hits' format. Instead, it showcases a selection of Chicane's works that, while not topping sales charts, have garnered critical praise and fan admiration. These tracks, described by Chicane as “either released at the wrong time or a little ahead of their time,” reflect a deep introspection and a commitment to artistic integrity.

Chicane's approach to this album is not just a retrospective but a rejuvenation of his past work. “I speculated over these tracks for years,” Chicane expressed. “They weren’t hits per se, but I believed in them, as did many of my fans and industry peers.” This project demonstrates his belief in giving due recognition to all aspects of his artistic output, successful or not.
