April 13—Today's Schiller Institute Meeting, “The Oasis Plan: The LaRouche Solution for Peace Through Development Between Israel and Palestine and for All of Southwest Asia” is motivated by the following conceptual premise, stated by Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche yesterday in her opening address to the 45th consecutive Friday meeting of the International Peace Coalition: "But it’s very clear that unless we get to what we have been discussing from the very beginning—a New Paradigm, where we overcome geopolitics with a ‍ new international security and development architecture, which includes all countries of the planet—the scenarios, or the theaters of the potential war, will just shift from one crisis spot to the next, until we have a really different approach on world politics.“As long as that is not given, there is the danger that things could go out of control very quickly. According to the judgment of a highly-placed person we talked with recently, he said, ‘Yes, you are absolutely right. In the best case, we are weeks away from an explosion and a disaster.’ I think that should fuel our efforts to really fight for a peace solution which has to be just to all sides, because the lesson from the Peace of Westphalia is that, unless it is just, and unless it takes into account the interests of all, it cannot work.”Peace may seem to be impossible to some, but “A purpose, which higher reason hath conceived, that men’s afflictions urge, ten thousand times defeated, may never be abandoned.” As President John F. Kennedy said at American University, June 10, 1963: “Our problems are manmade—therefore, they can be solved by man. And man can be as big as he wants. No problem of human destiny is beyond human beings. Man’s reason and spirit have often solved the seemingly unsolvable—and we believe they can do it again.”Optimism is a scientific principle. JFK proved that, and provided that, in the 1960s Apollo Manned Mission to the Moon—an outrageous demand on, not merely the United States, but humanity itself, but a demand which was met on schedule, within the decade that it was proposed. Today, the “Apollo Project” of our time demands an optimism that cannot be derived from war. It demands one, two, many "Oasis Projects" for the world, designed like the apparently impossible, but actually completely doable project posed for Southwest Asia. Optimism about humanity is, in that sense, both the topic and organizing principle of today’s conference. That 21st century “Apollo Project” is the ending of colonialism, and of its derivative diseases of “poverty, famine, disease, and war itself.” This is a task to which the majority of the world is already committed. It is through the application and unleashing of the technological powers and creative scientific and artistic capabilities of the world’s nations, including through joint missions to the Moon and Mars, and on Earth; through the “crash” joint development of thermonuclear fusion energy, for power “too cheap to meter” and readily available to all; and through the building of new cities and development corridors of a first-time-ever World Land-Bridge, that this can be achieved.Today’s conference is convened both on the threshold of greatness, and the edge of annihilation. Which direction prevails, will depend upon our strength to not only remember, but to embody, what poet Friedrich Schiller wrote: “A purpose, that higher Reason hath conceived, which men’s afflictions urge, ten thousand times defeated, may never be abandoned.” The ghosts of many Gazas, and the eyes of universal history will be watching, to see which direction we take.

April 8—When, in 1429, the 17-year-old army commander Jeanne d’Arc (Joan of Arc) looked before her at the city of Orleans, and considered how she would break the English siege against it, what was her vision of the plan of battle? What directions did she give her troops? It was not Joan’s comprehensive grasp of military strategy which inspired the French army, defeated by the English for nearly 100 years, to follow her. It was her “warrior soul,” fighting on behalf of a higher purpose, which transmitted to that very competent, but very uninspired, French fighting force, the concept of victory that they had lacked for decades, and that she embodied.“I think the one element which is absolutely irreplaceable, is the idea of what we do to put the world together. And I also think that what Prof. (Fernando) Garzón said—how this can only function if you have regional integration. Now, I think that that is something which absolutely needs to be put on the agenda as well, and that is a concrete plan of how to put the world back into order, (of) which the Oasis Plan is supposed to be one big area. And as we will discuss next week, this is not a plan just about reconstruction of Palestine, Gaza, but it is a plan to solve the problem between Israel and Palestine, by taking the entire region, from India to the Mediterranean, from the Caucasus to the Gulf. All of Southwest Asia has to be an integrated plan of reconstruction for it to work”: Helga Zepp-LaRouche offered this as an example of the “top-down” policy formulation-process that the International Peace Coalition, which held its 44th consecutive Friday weekly meeting on April 5, must engage in.For this session, the featured speakers were:Helga Zepp-LaRouche, Founder of the Schiller Institute;Prof. Richard Anderson Falk, professor emeritus of international law at Princeton University, Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees, former United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories from 2008 to 2014;Jens Jørgen Nielsen, historian, author, former Moscow correspondent of the Danish newspaper Politiken, representative of the Russian-Danish Dialogue, Denmark;Francis Anthony Boyle, American human rights lawyer and professor of international law at University of Illinois, counsel to Bosnia and Herzegovina and to the Provisional Government of the Palestinian Authority;Prof. Fernando Garzón, architect, urban planner and leader of the Ecuadorian-Palestinian Union, adviser to various UN agencies, the Inter-American Development Bank, and others. At various points during the discussion period, as expressed in some of the comments recorded in the “chat room” and otherwise, some participants were frustrated by what they termed “academic discussion” and wanted to know “what are we going to do.” Zepp-LaRouche’s response:“I think when you are fighting a war, it is extremely important that you know what is the strategy of your opponent. I think what we are trying to do with the IPC, but also the Schiller Institute in general, is to get a clear idea of what are the problems and forces we are combatting. Obviously, the terrible truth people are now waking up to, is that we are confronted with a system which is basically a global fascist system. Go back to some of the old speeches of my late husband, Lyndon LaRouche, which periodically you should do, because you will be absolutely astounded at the clarity he has been saying this since the 1970s, ’80s, and ’90s. I think that is what very few people dare to realize, but the present system as it has evolved is one of oligarchy, imperialism, and depopulation on a global scale.”Professor Francis Boyle, in an example of how to wage thoughtful, nonviolent warfare against the Anglo-American principalities and powers that not only allow, but instigate the ongoing genocide in Gaza, proposed a flank which, if vigorously exploited, could lead to a crucial victory. "The UN General Assembly can admit Palestine as a full-fledged UN member state. Right now Palestine is a UN observer state, along the lines of Switzerland, before it became a full-fledged UN member state. Today Palestine is recognized by about 139 states, de jure, as a state.“I did all the legal work for the Palestinians on that…. So far, the United States government has vetoed every attempt by Palestine to be admitted as a full-fledged UN member state. The Palestinians have announced that they’re going to try again sometime during the month of April. I guess we’ll see what the Biden Administration decides to do. They could abstain. But if the Biden Administration vetoes their admission, the UN General Assembly can admit them, by means of a two-thirds vote, and the votes are there.“Abstentions and no-shows do not count in the final tally. The votes are there—we know they’re there. This is extremely important. No UN member state has ever been destroyed, in the history of the United Nations. Some have disintegrated, like my former adversary, Yugoslavia...Clearly, Israel and its elite want to destroy Palestine, and the Palestinians. I have no doubt about the matter. And a UN membership will keep them alive.” Zepp-LaRouche expressed her agreement with this proposal.Several other actionable proposals were also made, but it is the method by which these proposals are beginning to be generated that matters most. During the weekly deliberations, there are many important questions and disputes. The differences, however, though significant, are, relatively, “side issues,” matters to be intensely discussed by those who have joined the same army, with the same purpose, on the same side in a battle to not merely save, but to fundamentally transform a world losing its humanity.“There is no easy answer. You have to make the effort to understand the complexity of the whole world, and put all of humanity on a higher plane, where we think of the one humanity first, and start to understand the other cultures, start to have a dialogue. Find out what are the beauties of poetry, or music, of all kinds of arts of the whole world. Turn the human family into a family, and then treat other cultures as if they would be their sons and daughters and grandparents and whatnot. That jump has to be made. And I know there are some very good-hearted people who do not want to understand that if you don’t solve this overcoming of geopolitics, all will be not enough. That is my deepest conviction,” Zepp-LaRouche said.Without deep conviction, vision is impossible, and “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” The economist and statesman Lyndon LaRouche told his associates and strangers alike that “If you show leadership, people will respond.” In her conclusion Friday, responding to the question, “What does it mean to be optimistic in today’s circumstances?” Zepp-LaRouche advised that “you must in yourself create a vision of how you want the world to be.” That is the moral principle that underlies the “Oasis Plan” for Southwest Asia, and for the World: Create a vision of how you want the world to be—and be it!!

March 27—I met Murder on the way—He had a mask like Castlereagh—Very smooth he looked, yet grim;Seven bloodhounds followed him…And many more Destructions playedIn this ghastly masquerade,All disguised, even to the eyes,Like bishops, lawyers, peers , or spies. "—Percy Shelley, The Masque of Anarchy (1819)It is genocide, says the United Nations Special Rapporteur for Human Rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories Francesca Albanese. She spoke from Geneva March 25, regarding the systematic mass-killing campaign now being conducted by the Israel Defense Forces, under orders from the Netanyahu regime, and subsidized and fortified by the weapons, money, and influence of Great Britain, the United States, and NATO. In testimony to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva yesterday, Albanese said (unofficial transcript): "Following nearly six months of unrelenting Israeli assault on occupied Gaza, it is my solemn duty to report on the worst of what humanity is capable of, and to present my findings: ‘The Anatomy of a Genocide.’“History teaches us that genocide is a process, not a single act. It starts with the dehumanization of a group as other, the denial of that group’s humanity, and ends with the destruction of the group in whole, or in part. The dehumanization of Palestinians as a group is the hallmark of their history—of ethnic cleansing, dispossession and apartheid.“… When the ground offensive started, the number of daily casualties had seemed to reduce, but, in fact, the level of atrocities increased. Mass disappearance and arbitrary detentions, widespread and systematic torture and inhumane treatment, add to the experience of endless death and loss…. One of my key findings is that Israel’s executive, military leadership and soldiers have intentionally distorted the rules of International Humanitarian Law—distinction, proportionality and precaution—in an attempt to legitimize genocidal violence against the Palestinian people….“In light of this, I find that there are reasonable grounds to believe that the threshold indicating the commission of the crime of genocide against Palestinians as a group has been met. Specifically, Israel has committed three acts of genocide with the requisite intent, causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group, deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part, and imposing measures intended to prevent birth within the group. The genocide in Gaza is the most extreme stage of a long-standing settler colonial process of erasure of the native Palestinians…. This was a tragedy foretold.“While the International Court of Justice (ICJ) will have to deliberate, the International Criminal Court (ICC) will have to investigate. It is my responsibility to remind you that the Genocide Convention includes a non-derogable obligation to prevent the commission of genocide, a reality the ICJ recognized as plausible, exactly two months ago. The time for states to act was then, and as they did not, the time to act is now. In its darkest hour, the international community cannot continue to ignore that it is Israel’s project to rid Palestine of Palestinians in defiance of international law. The world’s failure to call Israel to account has led to genocide, laid bare in Gaza. Denial of the reality and the continuation of Israel’s impunity and exceptionalism is no longer viable.“Especially in light of yesterday’s binding UN Security Council [ceasefire] resolution, I implore member states to abide by their obligations, which start with imposing an arms embargo and sanctions on Israel, and so ensure that the future does not continue to repeat itself. Thank you.”The finding of the United Nations Special Rapporteur is of particular, singular importance. It rips away the mask, not merely from Israel’s overseers, but also the mask from each and every one of us. This is the reason for the demanding crisis of conscience, first experienced and expressed by young people, most notably Jewish Voice for Peace, then other institutions and individuals, finally now affecting many of the most impenetrable, from American commentators like Candace Owens, Alex Jones, and Christiane Amanpour to politicians like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who said March 22: “As we speak, in this moment, 1.1 million innocents in Gaza are at famine’s door, a famine that is being intentionally precipitated through the blocking of food and global humanitarian assistance by leaders in the Israeli government.”Today, the world cannot claim, as it did 90 years ago, after Adolf Hitler’s accession to power in Germany, that it was not told, that the truth was hidden until it was too late to stop the crime. Rapporteur Albanese’s rebuke of the international community for not having acted two months ago, at the end of January, following South Africa’s December presentation before the International Court of Justice—“The time for states to act was then”—and her proposal for an immediate arms embargo against Israel—“the time to act is now”—is an important world reality-check. Whatever the Biden Administration is saying, the truth is that the United States is continuing to supply arms to Israel, as are Great Britain and Germany. The Biden Administration refuses to admit that the nation of Israel is committing genocide, committing crimes against humanity, judged to be such by America’s own Justice Jackson some 80 years ago at the Nuremberg Tribunals. Why do the United States, and its “special relationship partner,” Great Britain, tacitly endorse the policy of the depopulation of Gaza? Let us never forget, that, from the time of the April 1968 founding of the Club of Rome, depopulation and de-industrialization has been NATO’s middle name. China’s development projects in Argentina and Ibero-America more generally, in the African continent, and its international Belt and Road Initiative, are hated by NATO and the depopulators. In Ukraine, as in Gaza, as in the intentional and racist destruction of Haiti by the “Dope, Inc.” international financial/intelligence/drug cartel, depopulation, sometimes through genocidal means, is the willful, intentional, designed result. On March 29, the International Peace Coalition, joined by various members of the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS) and other organizations, will raise the standard for action to defeat these crimes, to that outlined in Principle Nine of Helga Zepp-LaRouche’s “Ten Principles for A New Security and Development Architecture”][(https://schillerinstitute.com/blog/2022/11/30/ten-principles-of-a-new-international-security-and-development-architecture/): “In order to overcome the conflict arising out of quarreling opinions, which is how empires have maintained control over the underlings, the economic, social and political order has to be brought into cohesion with the lawfulness of the physical universe. In European philosophy, this was discussed, as being in character with natural law, in Indian philosophy, as cosmology, and in other cultures appropriate notions can be found.”It is urgent that we find the “common high ground,” and form the international association that, through this shared commitment to viewing all people as one humanity, can implement readily available solutions, such as the LaRouche Oasis Plan for cooperative regional development in Mideast, free from the terminal disease of thermonuclear geopolitics. We must act in time, and that time is now.

March 1—Tuesday’s unexpected, stunning message to both the Democratic and Republican Parties, in the form of the 101,000 “uncommitted” votes in the Michigan Democratic primary cast against the United States’ immoral policy of supporting Benjamin Netanyahu’s mass murder in Gaza, exceeded the stated objectives of its “Listen to Michigan” organizers by one order of magnitude. They were able to generate ten times their desired 10,000-margin voter shift into the uncommitted column! 10,000 was the difference recorded in the 2020 Presidential election in favor of Joe Biden over Donald Trump. Listen to Michigan’s purpose, while it focused upon and consisted largely of an Arab-American-based electoral mobilization, was to make visible and palpable the widespread dissatisfaction and rejection by the majority of the American people of our government’s criminal, and, in fact, illegal involvement in advancing and supporting imperial perpetual wars of depopulation, specifically in Gaza. The Mayor of Dearborn Abdullah Hammond, whose city boasted a 56% “uncommitted” vote—meaning that President Biden lost the primary election to “uncommitted” in that city—warned: “If the White House is listening, if our congressional leaders are listening, if our state leaders are listening, we need a change of course or we risk the complete unraveling of American democracy come November.”He is right; but something far bigger than that is of greater threat and concern to the world, and therefore, to America. In an interview with Deutschlandfunk, former NATO  Gen. Harald Kujat (ret.), responding to the question, “Do you have information that there are Western soldiers on Ukrainian territory now?” Said, “Yes, there are. There are American soldiers there. However, not in the, so to speak, in the official version, as a combat troop of the United States, but in the form of advisors and so on.” General Kujat said this was true of France and Great Britain’s militaries as well. "One of the crucial arguments that I have been introducing in the discussion for months now is … that it is not about, as the supporters say of [deploying the German cruise missile] Taurus, cutting off the Russian combat forces from their supply from the motherland…. It is about attacking strategic targets in Russia.“For example, on Dec. 26, 2022, the Ukrainians with drones attacked an intercontinental strategic airfield in Engels, near Saratov, where the [Russian] nuclear-strategic bomber fleet is stationed. That is such a strategic target. Imagine that you would have hit the nuclear weapon camp with these drones. Then we would both no longer be calling each other today.” As with the mad Col. Jack Ripper in the 1964 film “Dr. Strangelove,” thermonuclear war by miscalculation, or by mad design, “will not be televised.” There will be no warning; it will just begin. That is the climate of madness, to which the commitment of more funds by the United States Congress to NATO’s “Utopian” doomed adventure in Ukraine will only contribute. The hostile fantasy worldview shared among Anglo-Americans such as the likes of Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland—“We will tighten the noose and force Putin to come to the table in a serious way,” she said, in an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour—can, if dollars, logistics and manpower are attached to it, lead far more quickly than any suspect, to thermonuclear World War Three. To prevent that, Truth must defy silence. President Lula of Brazil has not only defended, but even strengthened his characterization of the crime in Gaza: “what I want to say loud and clear is the following: the Prime Minister of Israel is practicing genocide against women and children. That is a historical fact…. I won’t remain silent in the face of genocide.”It is not only world leaders that must do this; patriots, and world citizens must do this also. Independent candidates for office, such as New York Senate and Congress independent LaRouche candidates Diane Sare and José Vega, are now standing up for truth in the United States. If the captive populations of the trans-Atlantic world lose hope in the truth, or remain blind to the truth, then the world may very well soon be doomed, not by necessity, but by their choice.Worldwide reaction continues to American serviceman Aaron Bushnell’s self-immolation on Feb. 25. Clearly, Bushnell’s action indicts an American political system whose leadership has left its youth with no hope that their voices will be heard, except, possibly, by making themselves a human sacrifice. Such youth have lost any efficient connection with the power of the General Welfare principle included in the Preamble of the Constitution of the United States. For them, neither the leaders of the nation, nor its people, in their actions or goals, any longer embody that principle of the General Welfare. Is that, however, necessarily so?The horrific, if heroic, action of Bushnell, shows that all the vacuous speeches and posturing about “democracy” and “America, the greatest country in the world” is not accepted by many of its own soldiers, charged with killing and dying for what they know or suspect to be unjust causes. They also know that tens of thousands of innocent people in Gaza have been slaughtered, cruelly sacrificed, not beaten in war. Bushnell’s patriotism and conscience led him to take his action, and his life, but if we value his life, we must ensure that it is the last action of its kind. Implementing the Oasis Plan provided by Lyndon LaRouche; spreading cultural optimism through the study of Schiller Institute chairwoman Helga Zepp-LaRouche’s “Ten Principles for an International New Security and Development Architecture”; these, and their implementation should be the living memorial to Bushnell, and to the tens of thousands sacrificed in Gaza, “that these dead shall not have died in vain.”

Feb. 19—Yesterday, Presidents Day in the United States, the International Court of Justice began a six-day investigation. They are hearing a United Nations General Assembly request for an Advisory from the court regarding “Israeli practices affecting the Human Rights of the Palestinian People in the Occupied Territory, including East Jerusalem.” Though this differs from and precedes the action brought against Israel by South Africa on January 26, regarding the October 7 Hamas attack of last year, the intention of both actions is the same. Both seek to force the world to stop the massacre and deportation of 2 million people from Gaza, as Israel simultaneously illegally annexes (700,000 “settlers” on in the West Bank) and depopulates, in the name of the “ancient rule of law” reminiscent of the imperial law enforced by the very Roman Empire that destroyed Judaea and razed the Temple in 70 AD.One properly-voiced phone call by the American President could, as has been demonstrated by Presidents Eisenhower and Reagan in the past, reverse the crime against humanity now underway in Southwest Asia. Instead, the role played by the United States Presidency, the most powerful executive institution in the world is, in this instance, most shameful. The Presidency once administered by Washington, the commander of the Revolutionary Army; by Abraham Lincoln, the central commander in the 1861-65 American War Against the Secession; and by Franklin Delano Roosevelt, head of the most powerful military force in the history of the world from 1941 until his death in 1945, has failed to act with justice towards the people of Gaza, the West Bank, the United States and the world. There was an American that would have acted, had he been elected President, to have eliminated the possibility that the circumstance confronting the world in Gaza now could have even arisen. Lyndon LaRouche, in his very first of eight campaigns for the United States Presidency, pivoted his entire campaign on the idea of restoring equity to the world through the creation of an International Development Bank, a proposal which had first been presented to various leaders, including from Israel, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia and other nations in April of 1975. A later version of this original proposal was called “The Oasis Plan.” Now, a new video on the LaRouche Oasis Plan has been released, and a way must be found to ensure that a million-plus persons see that video and consider its implications for arriving both at an immediate, as well as a durable long-term blueprint for a just and prosperous peace, not only between Israelis and Palestinians, but also a peace that provokes the dismantling of Anglo-American killer operations in Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan—Southwest Asia, the theater of operations for British intelligence agent Bernard Lewis, and his epigones, Henry Kissinger, Zbigniew Brzezinski, and Samuel P. “Clash of Civilizations” Huntington. The latter were all enemies of Presidential candidate LaRouche. There was good reason. About them, LaRouche said in a January 24, 2002 webcast: "You have a group in the United States, which have gathered around large institutions, powerful financial institutions … which have gathered around people like Henry Kissinger, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Samuel P. Huntington, and others. These people, with certain military figures included, set forth a policy in the 1950s, which is what Eisenhower and MacArthur warned against. It was called, in that time, a ‘utopian’ military policy. The idea was to set up an American-dominated, Anglo-American world empire, like the Roman Empire, based on the so-called professional soldier.“Now, if you read the books and articles and discussions that these crumb-bums (if you want to give them the right name) have written, their policy is to eliminate the nation-state, set up a Roman-style world empire, under their rule, and create a military force, which, in point of fact, is modeled immediately on the Nazi Waffen-SS from the end of World War II: that is, troops recruited from all kinds of nations into a force, as a killer-force, to conduct perpetual war, just like the Waffen-SS. So, these guys are real Nazis. These are the utopians. These people are associated, as the H. Smith Richardson Foundation, and the Olin Institute and so forth, the American Enterprise Institute, and so on and so on—they are associated with wealthy financier institutions of the same type, from the United States, and from London, who put Hitler into power in Germany in 1933-1934, who made World War II inevitable. This is the enemy! It is the enemy within, and the enemy without is of minor significance compared to the enemy within.” [Emphasis in original.]Note the recent alarming revelation supplied by journalist Tucker Carlson (whose interview with Vladimir Putin may turn out to be the most watched interview in history, with now well over a billion views), that the intelligence agencies of the United States prevented and blockaded him from conducting that interview for three years. Now, consider: if Carlson had in fact conducted that interview in 2021, and the American people and others would have heard, directly from Putin, what he actually thought at that time, would it still have been possible to mislead the Anglosphere into supporting the “Russia-Ukraine war,” and its NATO-wide “financial nuclear war”—a war which may now extend to the stealing from Russia of $300 billion in assets?Of course, the Global South has no such illusion about “the war between the democracies and the autocracies.” Brazilian President Lula has made that clear as recently as his trip to the African continent, his consultations with Egypt, and his speeches at the African Union summit in Addis Ababa. The tiny nation of Yemen is now about to be confronted by a European-wide naval action against it—apparently the United States and Britain were not enough—and Africa and Asia, China and Russia note what is happening. There is a difference between force and power. In New York City this past Sunday, Feb. 18, an international gathering took action to defend and to activate the American Presidency for the General Welfare. New York Independent candidate for the United States Senate Diane Sare, and Independent candidate for New York’s 15th Congressional District, José Vega, gathered just under 300 supporters of their campaigns, in a meeting that featured speakers and participants from Europe, Africa, Asia, South America, and several U. S.states. This was the actual composition of what originally founded the United States, and, on the eve of the 250th anniversary of its revolutionary birth, it is important to recall this. The United States is not, even now, that against which it fought its own revolution. The nation, however, suffers from a fear-induced amnesia about what the duties—not rights, but duties—of each citizen are. When the institutions of self-government and their leaders fail, the American Declaration of Independence requires the American citizen to intervene to “alter or to abolish” the wrongful course of his government’s actions, and the “long train of abuses” that threaten the life, liberty and happiness of the citizens of this, or any other nation. The people of the United States cannot enjoy their inalienable rights, if their institutions of government are willfully and with malice either committing, enabling, or allowing the mass execution of members of another sovereign nation or people. To regain one’s inalienable rights, it is necessary to perform one’s inalienable duties. To end the present injustice, we can begin by circulating the proposal designed by the late United States Presidential candidate Lyndon LaRouche, called “ the Oasis Plan,” for a durable solution to the unnecessary fratricidal conflict in Southwest Asia, or if you prefer its British colonial conferred “slave name,” “the Middle East.” The mass circulation, especially by youth, of the Oasis Plan, can, at this moment, literally save lives in Gaza. This must be accompanied by interventions upon a United States Congress that is hostage to its own spectacular corruption, through lobbyists and “Anthony Weiner-style” blackmail. This must be accompanied by street actions, “teach-ins” involving from 3-5 people to an entire campus, using the 15-minute video as the catalyst for discussion. This must be supplemented by resolutions passed by city councils and state legislatures, and by “naming the names” of the individuals associated with the companies, banks, cartels and military institutions, promoting and profiting from war. This includes the “secret government” compost heap of think tanks, foundations and international conferences, “the brightest guys in the room,” who, “Enron-style,” have brought the nation to the brink of destruction. As the United States stands just over one year from the 250th anniversary of its Revolutionary birth, no candidates, other than the Independent candidacies of New York Senate candidate Diane Sare and New York Congressional candidate José Vega, are even discussing that fact. The reason is that others, no matter what their apparent station, are choosing to avoid walking in the shadow of responsibility cast by the Founders of this nation. That responsibility is to the future as history, the future expressed in the “Ten Principles for a New International Security and Development Architecture” composed by International Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche. Let us, then, agree to walk within the shadow of our forgotten ancestors, and repair and redeem ourselves, by choosing to courageously remember the real American Presidency and the cause for which this nation was born.

Feb. 16—First, bit by bit, and now, chunk by chunk, the cocoon of the clueless is being dismantled. The scales are beginning to fall from the eyes, and the minds, of the people of the trans-Atlantic world. Now, dimly, they can begin to see the real picture of “King Dorian Gray”—Charles of England, and the other, equally decadent “principalities and powers”—with all of their vices, depravity, and sin written in the lines of their faces, as well as in the speeches, vetoes and bills placed before congresses and parliaments, designed and deployed to continue their ritual mass murder of the innocent, in Gaza and worldwide, in the name of the rule of law. Ireland and Spain, Türkiye and Egypt, virtually the entirety of Africa, and even Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are calling for no siege/assault in Rafah. The Hindustan Times reported, “The African Union reportedly prevented an Israeli delegation from entering its headquarters in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa on Wednesday [Feb. 14]…. The Israeli delegation was reportedly supposed to present its point of view regarding the war in Gaza.” South Africa’s Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor, who spoke outside of that gathering, said of the ongoing criminal actions: “We believe this confirms the allegations we’ve tabled before the ICJ, that genocide is underway in the Palestinian territories, in the occupied territories—clearly the actions of the Israeli government prove that what we’ve said is actually accurate.”Don’t, through electoral and other distractions, miss the true drama of this “world moment.” Right now, not only is the whole world watching Gaza; the whole world is rapidly becoming aware that there is another solution available, without war. If Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin’s statement, made at the beginning of his interview yesterday with President Vladimir Putin—“Mr. President, your interview with Tucker Carlson has already garnered 1 billion views”—is actually correct, it would mean that since last Thursday, Feb. 8, within one week, the psychological border, the “Russiagate”-driven electronic media fence painstakingly erected around “war criminal” and “madman” Vladimir Putin, has been breached; the knowledge of his actual proposals for peace and a negotiated settlement ending the Ukraine war, has become known to the clueless. This implies that the influence of the once-dominant “mainstream media,” given the right combination of successful initiatives by insurgent forces, can be dislodged, and even be brought down—like the Berlin Wall—should we intelligently act. This is the happy, but transient circumstance, in which the video “The Oasis Plan—LaRouche’s Solution for the Middle East,” and the International Schiller Institute’s “Ten Principles for a New International Security and Development Architecture,” can reach cumulative circulations above 1 million. The International Peace Coalition process begun by Helga Zepp-LaRouche, and the “Ten Principles” method upon which that process is conceptually based, has positioned us to catalyze such an expanded, as well as expansive dialogue. If everyone who truly wants to see an end to the Gaza genocide is caused, through our vigorous circulation of the video and the “Ten Principles,” to conclude that there can be no end to this “Middle East” nightmare without introducing a just, durable solution into this most-manipulated of geopolitical conflicts, one that is clearly in the mutual interests of all the parties involved, then we will have the power to make peace occur. It is the power of Reason, deployed in the spirit of the 18th-Century pamphleteer campaigns of Tom Paine’s Common Sense and The Federalist Papers, and appropriating the 21st-Century’s electronic communication means for this purpose, which is our “secret” weapon. Wielded simultaneously by many across the world, in the context of the newly-emerging drive, led by the BRICS and other nations, for what Lincoln called “a new birth of freedom,” our ideas can bring down the walls of silence, acquiescence, and accommodation, through the certain trumpet of Reason, Love—and the LaRouche Science of Physical Economy.
