Lindsey Graham Urges Israel to Do As US Did in Hiroshima and Nagasaki

May 14—Really moving beyond the bounds of any civilized discussion, lunatic Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) brings up the model of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki as one to be followed by the Israeli government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu government in its war of annihilation in Gaza. Speaking to NBC’s Kristen Welker on May 12, Graham wished her “Happy Mother’s Day,” and then said, “When we were faced with destruction as a nation after Pearl Harbor, fighting the Germans and the Japanese, we decided to end the war by bombing Hiroshima, Nagasaki, with nuclear weapons. That was the right decision …. So, Israel, do whatever you have to do to survive as a Jewish state. Whatever you have to do.”

It is well known, but not formally admitted, that Israel is a nuclear power, possessing an arsenal of both strategic and tactical nuclear weapons.

Before her interview Welker, played a video of Graham at hearings on May 8, where he had said: “If we stop weapons necessary to destroy the enemies of the state of Israel at a time of great peril, we will pay a price. This is obscene. It is absurd. Give Israel what they need to fight the war they can’t afford to lose. This is Hiroshima and Nagasaki on steroids.”
