Democrats’ ‘Stop Trump’ Effort Fails in New Hampshire But Keeps War Banger Haley in Race

Jan. 24—Former President Donald Trump easily won the GOP primary yesterday in New Hampshire, defeating war banger and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley by more than 10 percentage points, despite an effort by the Biden campaign and its local Democratic Party flacks to organize a sizeable crossover vote on her behalf as part their desperate “Stop Trump” efforts.

Sources in both parties report that President “Sleepy” Joe Biden had deliberately made no effort to get back on the Democratic primary ballot, after the state registrar conveniently barred his name from the ballot on a technicality. Biden and his advisors feared that, had his name appeared, the Democrats who have grown to hate his Administration might have either not turned out or organized some kind of protest vote.

Instead, with the primary being downplayed, the Biden crew organized a write-in campaign to win him a pyrrhic victory, at 53.1%, defeating minor candidate Dean Phillips who polled around 15%. Sources report that most of the write-ins were in the form of mail-in ballots, and, since the primary meant nothing—it selected no delegates to the nominating convention—they were not scrutinized for their validity. These sources report that many were filled out by party hacks, using voter rolls to determine possible voters. “There were probably plenty of double votes,'” said one source.

With the Democratic Party primary worse than meaningless, this enabled the Biden crew to focus their main effort on a “Stop Trump” campaign that utilized the quirk in the Granite State’s primary voting rules that allows any registered voter to vote in either party’s primary. That cross-over effort, which produced a larger than-expected turnout, accounted for more than 30% of Haley’s vote, with anti-Trump independents accounting for another 10%. Remove just the Democrat crossover vote from her totals, and Trump destroys her by around 70–30%.

While the Democratic Party’s effort fell far short of stopping Trump, it did at least keep Haley in the race. She announced last night that she intends to stay in the race through Super Tuesday, March 5. Sources close to the Trump campaign expect similar shenanigans in some of those states, as they are controlled by Democrats at the state level. But they express confidence that there is no one who can defeat Trump, who is benefiting from the popular rage against the ruling elite as the anti-Establishment candidate.

Since the Establishment is hell-bent on stopping a second Trump presidency, sources close to the former President say he is aware that this means he is literally in their crosshairs and will be taking precautions.
